Does it work with the extUSB adapter? The TYTNII and Polaris cannot charge and listen at the same time due to poor design electrical interference can be heard the moment the charge is plugged in. The same adapter works fine on htc elf/elfins |

Seems OK, but they're going for less than $100 CAD on a plan. For £149.99 you can get some hgher models surely? |

Nah, haven't seen the Pantech Duo b4, and I don't think it was on a phone anyway, argh, another patent with clear prior art |

Even after being bought out, they're still doing the 64ram thing. Why is it everyone complains about 64ram but so few makers wake up and put in 128? at least they have good other specs and good vga exp. |

So this time they say the graphics will be enabled. So I wonder what did they 'omit' to tell us this time? I have a machine that cannot charge and output audio at the same time due to internal shielding lacking. It's not the adapter cuz the adapter works perfectly on other model HTCs. The next LG/Samsung one may be worth considering tho. |

What would be awesome would be: Video drivers for their devices? Oh wait, they're not 'multimedia devices' HTC don't really do anything exciting anymore, since their attitude towards customers are now clear. If anyone else had a device with 128MB ram I'd go for it - why must it be so rare? |

The problem is with 64ram on boot you already have only about 25mb left. Add something like spb mobile shell or pocket plus, calligrapher, it goes down to under 20, very soon it becomes a limitation. |

interesting, but does it really deserve a patent? actually I feel like I've seen something similar before, not on a pda, I can't remember where. |

The Asus P750 is a keeper, and rumors say that we might get an official WM6.1 upgrade during the summer, so one may wonder if they will include official VGA support. If not, then the VGA rom is working fine too, and will be shaped up a bit as time goes by. I'd guess that asus had some strange contract that said they could get these screens cheaper if they only used it as QVGA. Thus they are not allowed to enable VGA, the maker can enjoy scales of economy. Kinda like the Qualcomm - HTC crap. |

have tried at least 4-5 cooked roms but havent overclocked my device, the speed is nice - better than my HTC Touch Cruise, TT6 runs very smoothly.... Hi is there a forum that has dedicated asus roms, like xda? In xda they only have random threads about the p750, so it's hard to keep track what is available... |

Expansys always say things like several hundred in stock, etc and when you order it says something else entirely. Their staff are rude/incompetent, and treat me like it's my privelege to buy from them and they have no need to explain why my item keeps getting delayed. See here for more complaints http://www.expansys.com/ft.aspx?k=106410 |

tiny is good, but no VGA, screen could have used more of that empty space, and 200MHz - can it handle all this? |

Beware Expansys waits. Their site shows what they have, not taking into account their outstanding orders. I got told 2 days after ordering that an 'In Stock' item would be 6wks away! |

How's the 64MB RAM? Is it a problem? I saw this cost the same as the HTC Touch (128MB ram ver) I was about to buy. But with Processor at 624 MHz I wonder if this is a better deal. But some say there's hardly any free ram left and u have to keep closing apps. Never used WM5/6 so duno how true this is. Was also considering a glofiish x800 which strangely I found also at a similar price. Also plagued with reviews about ram/slow etc. |

Actually, does anyone have benchmarks of the TYTNII vs other htc stuff like even the old Touch? If the cruise isn't going to the end-all then I may as well just get the plain Touch. I don't use 3G and the TYTN II already had battery issues, now it can't even tomtom well why would I want it? Extra ram for programs I can't run smoothly? |

I duno. that video seems to show my 4yr old ipaq 4150 (underclocked to 268mhz) runs tomtom 6 more smoothly than a tytnIIat 400mhz? I'm sure my ppc2003 has no video accel. Something is seriously wrong if that's the case. |
