I was visiting a friend over the weekend and he spent time showing off his 'new' Nokia N95 8GB and showed me a rather impressive feature. Using the Wi-Fi on his phone he was able to access his home network and play music, access word and powerpoint files on his phone from the home network. He was also able to play music on the home network from his phone to play on the PC - which was connected to a amp and hence act like a personal remote control with volume control. He was also able to send pictures from his phone to the home network and vicer versa. Now, although very impressive, all this must be possible with the HTC TyTn II??? I've been searching some forums and haven't been able to come up with how to do it. Anyone know how to go about it? Anyone able to connect to their home network? Thanks To use at home ie. within your own network, I use Salling Clicker ( http://www.salling.com/Clicker/windows/ ). Hope that helps |

Hoping someone could help me with this little niggle I have..... I've been looking for a simple wifi today screen plugin, which I can simply tap to activate/de-activate wifi. But i'd also like it to tell me which network i'm connected to. I've been looking for days now, and not found anything which doe's both. I have the modaco wifi plugin, which tells me whether the connection is on/off. But also tell me about Bluetooth etc....which I don't want. I also have the Effcom plugin, which I can tap to switch things on/off, but doesn't tell me what network i'm connected to. All I want is a plugin which says Wifi: Off / Wifi: Network, which I can tap for on/off. Can anybody help me with this ??? TIA |

QUOTE I don't understand how you can give a warranty for a hack that will void the phone warranty ... but perhaps I'm missing a subtle thing here  I think you are missing something... Florin's unlock method give the unlock code (which would be the same as if Orange themselves would give you), so there's no risk of losing your warranty. |

QUOTE I have received a NIP. At the claimed time I cannot recal who was driving as we shared the driving on this day. I have heard that if I return the paperwork with both of the possible drivers details, that the police will not pursue the matter. In many cases this is true and the police take no further action. In some cases the police will visit the registered driver and interview them to try and get them to "confess" even if they really cant recall who was driving. In a few cases the police will also a summons for failing to comply with s172 RTA 1988 (supplying the drivers details). So no hard and fast rules and it seems to vary from case to case. Who ever gets caught speeding would get the fine/points on their licence. In the case of a speed camera, you would have to prove you wasn't driving at the time. This can get quite interesting because if the police can not identify the driver they can not give you points or a fine.
There is a site somewhere, i'll try to find it EDIT: just reread your post |

The Motorola still has the Camera option in the program list, and yes the caller ID will be on the disk if its not already installed.
I've had 2 MPx200's and one had it installed and the other didnt |
