Try deleting the old patnership and then create a new one.

so you mainly use your outlook on your phone? and not your pc? most people have the pc as the base, and sync the phone to the pc. but everyone's not the same.

Sorry, are you talking about Google maps, GPS Test, or Windows Livesearch when you say this?

While in IE, go to Menu/Tools/Options/Connections/ and make sure that "Automatically detect settings" is not checked and the Selected network is WAP Network.

For MMS go to Messaging and click on Messages/Menu/scroll down to Multimedia Msg. Options/3. Multimedia Msg. Profiles/ and verify that AT&T MMS selected. Then down below select Menu/Edit/ scroll down to GPRS and verify that Media Net is selected.

If none of this helps then you may have to re-create a new GPRS setting under Settings/Connections/GPRS Post back with the out come, then we'll move on to GPRS settings if need be...

I hade the same thing happen to me, tried to send a MMS and it screwed the phone up. It absoulutly refused to connect to the internet after that. I had to reset the phone inorder to fix it.

Yep, you can compare Google Maps to Windows Live search (I prefer WLS because it has more "local" things - like finding a store, movie times, etc) or you can compare Garmin to Copilot or TomTom or whatever (I like Garmin because it was a gift to me for free ..haven't tried anything else) but any other combination just wouldn't make sense.

There is a free turn by turn navigation program called "amazegps" that the developers have been working on for Windows Mobile, but the current beta (or alpha) version doesn't work on the Blackjack II yet.
If you don't wanna pay for anything though, keep an eye on it at amazegps.com - it looks pretty good, but they've been working on it for so long and seem to not have made it very far...

To get high quality video you just need to encode your videos into a sufficiently high quality bitrate. Use programs like DVDFab and Fairuse Wizard to rip from DVD into other compressed formats, like mp4, xvid/divx, etc. Use a resolution of 320x240, framerate of 24 or 30 (or "auto"), video bitrate of 512kbps and audio bitrate of 128kbps and you should be satisfied with the quality. Watch on TCPMP or divx player mobile. In my experience, Fairuse Wizard gives better looking video at the same settings, but sometimes has problems with audio sync (slightly out of sync audio) sometimes.

I have had my BJ2 for a week now and here is a list of things I have it doing for me:

optimized my battery life, I now get daaayz of standby time, used to be like 1 or two days

got picture messaging to work - that was a pain

callfirewire If I dont want a certain number calling me ( or any amount of numbers ) my phone rejects it and sends them a "away" text message

nes snes and sega emulation all full screen w/ sound ( the snes lags with the sound on thoagh )

near dvd quality video

Any of these that you dont have going for you I will gladly tell you how I did it ( I learned most of it from this forum )

figured it out, and it really simple just put your file into \Application Data\sounds either using activesync's explorer or the file explorer on the phone and they will show up on the list. I have tried wma, mp3 and wav(they all work)

Iam pretty sure if somone looks hard enough they can find a registry key to modify the default folder but this is easy enough i think

Now open Internet Explorer and click Menu - Tools - Options - Connections.
Uncheck "Automatically Detect Settings"
Select Network: Wap Network.


Ensure all those settings are set correctly.

Start - Settings - Connections - GPRS

Delete the "ATT IMS" connection.

I had the same problem, but I found out that when active sync is connected, you cant go on the internet with IE. Not sure if you knew about this or not.

Might be if you have GPStest running in the background, or Garmin. Any background applications can cause this.

Bring up display options. Press right (if I say left/right/up/down, I mean the scroll wheel, not the soft buttons). You should now be able to use left and right to select the display orientation. When done, press the left SOFT button.

open up pocketsnes
press option tab
then display tab...
then press the left button twice
(confusing but thats how u change it)

Not 100% sure what you're asking, but go into display options and try Landscape or Portrait, whichever one you're not in now
