Hi I had the same problem; sync worked for a year or more then .. nish.. I had given my machine a static IP address and switched off DHCP client for my network card, this prevented DHCP from giving an ip address to the vario.. If I use DHCP to get an IP Active sync works fine ? Good luck T |

Fantastic! My only gripe is cache location. I tried to install to SD card but it ended up on device memory. I moved the installation to SD and its work fine, but Cache stilll on device memory. I put a support call in to Google; if they get back to me I'll copy any response to here! |

Special software indeed. You'll just need to enter the GPRS settings and it'll work fine. I manually setup my SPV C550 for T-Mobile Web N Walk and it's fully functional. Let us know if you have any questions or need any specific help... Hi Pondrew, coudl you let me know the settings for t-mobile. I got a relax+ Web n Walk deal on Sat, they had no Varios in stock - so I took a N*kia n70 (not that I will use it) until they get me a Vario . in the mean time I fancy setting up my c500 for t-mob. so iffen ya could many thanks T |

QUOTE(mdavenport @ Jul 20 2005, 09:10) Thanks Chucky.egg With regards to setting auto answer. It would appear that this option is only part of the Headset profile and this can't be selected unless a headset is connected. Does anyone know of a work around to this, either set auto answer on Normal profile or force Headset profile to be selected without headset connected? thanks Custom wire a 2.5mm plug to a mini microphone - as well as activating headset mode it could be better placed to listen to the car thieves conversations! |

Remember when handheld calculators first became available. they needed several batteries to run and they didn't last long. Soon solar powered devices became available and the need for batteries was gone! Would it be impossible to have light sensor on you Smartphone? I am sure that would not replace the battery, but would help in the longevity of each charge, therefore to "charge handset wirelessly" would be possible , at least in theory (my theory lol) Happy Saturday and god bless those wet hippies T |

QUOTE(tsutton @ Jun 23 2005, 16:00) No problem here (Norwich, UK) Remember, not all problems are with Orange, other issue can happen, i.e. power failure, someone cutting of the cable (local people who hates mobile phone aerial), etc etc Thanks It's not just the network coverage..... * They recently put me ona new plan but failed to mention I no longer have roll over minutes. That hacked me off. * Their "Website" won;t let me log on to "my Account" and pay my bill! * they now charge me extra for not pay by DD * The service just gets worse and worse and I have been a customer for ten years! * then they have these adverts on the TV about buddisms (sic) and looking after existing customers! Thanks Orange ... today I have no signal so my smartphone is dumbstruck! |

QUOTE(RT. @ Jun 13 2005, 22:03) Really like the look of this app, but have come across what coudl be a glitch when exporting. If I "Backup" messages, it backups 85 in total. However, if I "Export" messages, it only exports 48. The main (possibly only) folder where the discrepancy is obvious is the SMS sent items folder, where only 13 out of 30+ messages have been exported. Have deleted the backup folder and run the program several times, always with the same result. Anyone else seen this? yay I get only 30 exported out of 192 messages! ???  |
