try google maps! and if you dont get a GPS fix, then start GPStest, let that get a fix, then start google maps. This should really help you, expecially if you can view the hybrid mode, showing roads and terrain.

i hope it helps,

That is weird. I would uninstall mobile device center, your usb drivers (they will reinstall on reboot), and turn off and take out the battery on your phone. reinstall mobile device center using microsoft's website, and then try once more. its probably some weird bug or somethin

hope it helps!

use the format option in windows, also search www.hp.com...they have a good one, but i forget the actual link.

I do believe the card will work again when formatted with the FAT filesystem.

hope it helps!

haha, go get yourself the pretty iPhone 3G (hey, its the same price) and I gave my BJ2 to my sis... tongue.gif

microsoft doesnt keep an open mind when installing software, even though they usually do make things practical. im sure if these programs claim to work, then they probably will...but if they arent free...I would use a friends computer, or put things on the SD card and then install from that?

hope it helps a lil...

Microsoft actually was smart about this one, the silent button was designed to be held down just incase of accidental button pressing on your part, say you were texting and hit this, but nothing happened, so you didnt really think much of it...but then people are trying to call you all day...and you happen to pull your phone out to see 20 missed calls. The 3 second hold on the silent is there for this purpose, and I dont see why you would want to mess with that, but im sure it would be a registry edit.

probably not what you wanted to hear, but...

I think you can do it!

Here's one of my topics, talking about me and my encounters taking the phone apart, and I think you may be able to scrounge up some pictures. Also in this topic (about the 6 or 7th post) are instructions written by me on how to take it apart.

Here is the link and I hope it helps!

Hello there.

I'm going to be nice because it looks as if this is your first post. This site doesn't tolorate illegal or pirating activity and you will not receive any links to this message.

If you pirate software, that's you, but not being able to figure out what your doing with stolen software isn't our specialty.

From experience, this site means business and I don't want you to have to learn the hard way. Now, if your asking for help on legal software, get back to us. I use the Legal version of Garmin and you can find that on www.amazon.com!

Purchased products just work!!

I dont really understand what you're saying, but you might be able to find another ROM to use on the device, (still unlocked) but that would not be branded to T-mobile. Also, you could try editing the .xml code in the application data/home folder. This is where the themes for the phone are stored, and the "get more" icon is probably embedded somewhere in there.

For what it's worth...

the view is probably used my a flash or other type of plug-in, and isn't for use on a mobile phone. Opera Browser may can help on this situation, but I KNOW it would work if you use Skyfire. www.skyfire.com, I still think it is in a beta program, but you could try.

Hope it helps!

I know of a progam called sprite backup that may work well for you.

Also, the installation CD that came with the BJ2 has a program called Media Wizard 3.0 that can backup your emails and SMS messages.

Hope it helps,

hello there,

I hope I can help. Do you have any 3rd party apps that could be interfering?

Also, I wonder if a hard reset would do the trick, (it will delete all your personal info., press up and the ON/OFF button at the same time.

If that doesn't help, take your phone back and ask for a refund.

I installed it, but couldnt get it to do anything either. Maybe it was made for either a touch screen device, or a WM5 device...

Actually, this a phone that is already available. No photoshopping here! I doubt the BJ3 will look exactly like that, it may not have the touchscreen, but I guess we'll just see.

First, I would try upgrading the drivers for the SD slot on your laptop. Find out the brand, and go to their website to check. You may can also try your computer manufactures website for some help. The card should already be formatted to work with the phone, but its alot easier to use the SD slot on your computer then to use the included USB cable. Faster too...

Hope it helps,

GPS has nothing to do with Data, unless you decide to use the included Telenav service, which AT&T does charge monthly for. But as far as using GPS, and getting charged an extra fee, that wont happen.

Hope it helps,

I would try charging it while it was off and then turn it on and see if you still get the problem. It could so low that it cant run the phone, and charge at the same time. I know that sounds stupid...but it is a possibility!

I emailed them too...mine was a little more "straight-forward", just to try and pry for some info. Appearently lots of people ask, because my email was almost identical to yours. Hey, I don't think they even know when its gonna be released! haha...I guess we will just have to see...

I HATE WAITING.

I have Garmin XT installed on a 8GB MicroSDHC that I bought off eBay for $25.00. It works wonderfully...and MAY take up a gig...I have TONS of music, pictures, and some videos and still have 3.5GB left.

Hope it helps,

hey, im not a fan of windows, but i do find it practical.

now on the the help. Fido uses a SIM card correct? I wouldn't think it would just be much trouble changing phones, I mean it would have to be unlocked or Fido branded, but in theory that part will work fine. Now SOME phone information IS sent to the carrier (I use at&t and when you go into your account, it shows the phone im currently using. If I put my SIM in a Motorola Q, it would show that...and so forth, but it is manually changable) but I don't know if specifically the IMEI is. They could just log this info when you buy the phone, and it just shows that it's regestered to you. IMEI locks only pertain to phones, not SIM cards...and they cant lock a phone if your SIM isn't in it. Do you see what I mean? I think they just say that to scare you. You would still be using Fido, and if they didn't know, they shouldn't have any reason to suspect any different. But if you do get another phone, and copy the network settings in, just like the blackjack 2 currently has, then I believe everything should be fine...without extra data charges.

Oh! and hey, the iPhone 3G will be hittin Fido and Rodgers July 11th!

hope it helps,
