I've got a Moto Q9h - WM Smartphone 6 - and Outlook 2003. I have "ALL DAY EVENTS" about twice a week scheduled through the rest of the year, which clearly show up without any problem in Outlook 2003 on the PC.

For some reason, those ALL DAY EVENTS are not being sent to the Q9h when I ActiveSync. (On the Q9h, I go to the date that an ALL DAY EVENT appears on the PC, and there is nothing there.) I've tried deleting the mobile device in ActiveSync and re-establishing it, but the calendar still doesn't sync most ALL DAY EVENTS. (Interestingly, there are a few that I originally entered on the phone and not on the PC which DO seem to sync.)

I've tried going into the ALL DAY EVENT on the PC and making a change - then saving and closing. Still no sync... (ActiveSync works - it just doesn't send the ALL DAY EVENT to the phone.) I've also tried a SCANPST - doesn't fix the problem.

Remember - this is a Smartphone - not a PPC.

Thanks for any help you can offer...

I've tried WM6 Remote Desktop - doesn't seem to work correctly on the Q9h. I must be doing something wrong if you've got it working. Any suggestions?

By default, when dialing a telephone number, the Q9h starts trying to match what you are typing with what you have listed in your contacts and your call history. Sometimes, if you type too fast, it misses a number. Does anyone know of a way to disable the name search when dialing? Just straight dialing is what I'm looking for; if I want to match to a contact, I'll press the contact button first.

I've tried a few registry edits on the Q9h to see if I could force WM6 to accept a shorter password for the device lock, but none of them seem to work. Has anyone had success shortening the password requirements? (Less than the four numbers required for the SIMPLE PIN option.) I'm interested in setting the pin to one number - to act like a keyguard.

Unless someone has found a good keyguard program that automatically activates after a certain amount of inactivity for the Q9h...

I'm looking for a plug-in that will work on the Q9h that will allow me to have a digital clock (including seconds) on the home screen. Any suggestions?
