Hi. I have one (maybe) bug. When i changed names of my scripts to SCRIPTED: name, I get only part of full name in PPC ATD. For example in XML is SCRIPTED: Vito EyePhoto and i see only SCRIPTED: Vito. But I can have SCRIPTED: abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz (not so much tested) and I will see it completely. Is possible to do something with it?

First I changed name to SCRIPTED, if I change it to "S: name", can you delete "SCRIPTED..." items from stats?

And last, how to make announcement (with XML) in ATD? I saw it on one screenshot.

It's possible only somewhere, not all apps has version in exe. I thought about it and It's very complicant issue. Best is official xml file in the setup... Can you make for this manual xml version changer? Or option to update local xml file after download cab.

Without reply Can you make exceptions for items with prefix SCRIPTED: (to don't write it in database). If you don't know how, I can help you. It can be better for statistics.

I made new version with something like "system" (I can just add script to folder and it fond and use it) of automatic cache update (every hour), so It's very faster (only about 500b to download and server response immediately, nothing to run). And with statistics. So please renew your scripts (if someone using it), because there is new adress (see first post)

It download complete web code and search some words. For download link It working only with part of code

And changing php>xml with urlrewrite (htaccess)

I don't know if you understand me (and I you). Here is example to use this:

1) Download and install S2U2 (without ATD, manually)
2) Add this xml to ATD
3) Check your version of S2U2 and put it in XML file, because there is no automatic XML version updates
4) If A_C release new version on XDA-dev, ATD check it via my script acutally on my server
5) If is there new version, you can download it with ATD, but you must then update version in local XML file

That's all, maybe is it needless, but I'll use it for some appliactions while it has own ATD XML file included.

Hi. I'm Czech so excuse my imperfect English.

Apptodate is very interesting application for users in comfort. But not so many developers add this function to their apps, but they have often website with still same code only version is changing. So i have an idea to checking these pages via external scripts on external hosting. I tried to do some scripts for S2U2 (checking one post from xda-dev), Conduits PocketPlayer and VITO EyePhoto. I can add more programs on request, but I don't know, how is it "hard" for server and It's quite slow. So I need help with PHP from some advance users, I need some caching, for example after 2 hours refresh. Maybe I'll try to use Cron script to check state and then write to cache file (which then read users), It's very possible solution.

Yes I know that this is not best solution, but It's interesting and usable, isn't it? There is still one problem - how to check current version in PPC - We can only write manually in xml and AppToDate will be only "information with version and download".
