You need to interact with POOM (Pocket Outlock Object Model). There are a number of samples installed with WM6 SDK. Also check out MS documentation: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb445978.aspx Lovesten, I'll check this out when I get home tonight -- Do you know if POOM allows you to access SIM Contacts as well? (I didnt see any mention of SIM data and it would strike me as being part of the Pocket Outlook Object Model) Thanks |

Hello, I am playing around with some Windows Mobile 6 development .. I have Visual Studio 2008 Pro, Windows Mobile 6 Standard SDK and ActiveSync 4.5 installed. How can I use the classes/methods that allow me to access Outlook Contacts, SIM Contacts, Calendar Appointments, etc. ? I found some documenation on MSDN referencing cellcore.dll, but it sounds like that that is a restricted library. There has to be a way That I can access and manipulate Contact data, no? Even if the phone has to be application unlocked. I would very much like to understand how to interact with basic windows mobile features (contacts). Thanks |

I've only had my BJ-II for a week. My 8525 broke, I miss some of the touchscreen stuff but loving my BJII more and more everyday. So far I use: SPbattery meter Pocket Player TCPMP and one that I can't believe no one has mentioned Smarttoolkit 9e from http://www.e-natives.com/ SmartToolkit breaks my Samsung Blackjack 2. |

A pretty nice resource for Blackjack 2/Windows Mobile 6 apps is www.myblackjack2.com -- it highlights some of the best apps in several different categories, and i tend to agree w the selections. My personal favorite apps are: Windows Live Search - its so convenient for looking up common numbers (restaurants, movie theatres, etc) Palringo - The best IM client Im still trying out RSS readers to pick my fave. |
