This has happened to me a couple of times. I didn't try rebooting the phone though. Each time it happened I think I only had 4/5 GPS signal strength.

I think its a bad chip or driver because after these error start if I shut garmin down and start Google Maps, errors persist.
Will try to exchange for new BJ. This one is still under warranty.

Try rebooting the phone before starting garmin xt. It happens to me if the phone hasnt been restarted in a while.

Reboot helps, but not always (I had a bad episode even after reboot) but that is not the point. What is happening and why?
During one of these crazy sessions I looked for a whole on the GPS satellite info and the satellites were runnung all over the "radar" display like mad and my "speed" was in hundreds of miles per hour (I was standing still).

Since you also have this problem and since I have not noticed any problems with Google Maps I guess this is not a problem with GPS chip or my GPS chip or the driver.
May be Garmin XT does not initialize the driver well...

My Garmin XT on BJ2 works great when it works, but once in a while it gets into position errors that leads to almost constant reclaculations with no end.
It looks like stopping and waiting for a minute ot two puts things back where they should be, but I need more testing.
Anyway, it looks that these are not the GPS errors, but rather the software's.
Anyone with the same problems?

Alex.

I'm proud to present my Shadow XT9 language pack, which includes 14 languages, namely...

- Czech
- Danish
- German
- English
- Spanish
- Finnish
- French
- Italian
- Dutch
- Norwegian
- Polish
- Portugese
- Russian
- Swedish

I have tested it as far as possible, but feedback is appreciated. Please note that if you select an AZERTY language (e.g. French), your suretype keyboard will behave like an AZERTY keyboard. It caught me out at first biggrin.gif

Enjoy!

Paul, is it possible for you to give us an advice how to make your wonderful pack work on other WM6 phones, (mine is BJ2)?

Thanks a zillion,

Alex.

Dear friends,

I spent a lot of time trying to find the way to add some languages to BJ2. I had little doubt that I will be able to do it since I was even able to add language packs to my old Razr! However, as of now, its all in vain. Which is mind-boggling because this is a WM6 phone! How hard should it be to use another language on Windows machine?
I found a 14 Language pack for Juno on this forum and tried it with my BJ2 bit it did not work.

A would be very greatful for any suggestions. BJ2 has the fonts and everything already installed, because I can receive SMS messages in other languages, but I cannot write back.

WorldMate is much overpitched. You need to know that you will be bugged for pricey updates and one day if you do nbot pay for an update it stops working. Typical Israeli software which if you pay once you have to keep paying more and more and more for updates and additional sirvices without which the software is of very little use. However if your company ius Ok with that its a nice toy.
