I just upgraded to Windows Mobile 6.1 and it worked like a charm and from first glance it looks amazing however I am stuck with no Internet access. I am not using AT&T network and everything works fine (calls in/out) but the GPRS settings are locked to AT&T. I tried adding a new connection but it won't work since the pre-configured AT&T settings cannot be removed. Can anyone help me unlock the GPRS settings? Thanks http://www.mobilejaw.com/articles/2...ile-61-devices/ setting up on my device now, ill let you know it if works! -ViTRoN- **EDIT: worked flawlessly!!!!! *** ***EDIT: check this out too http://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...t=422958&page=2 surfturtle came up with this and im posting from a tether right now. Followed his regedit to "HKLM\Comm\InternetSharing\Settings In here will be a value named "ForceCellConnection" Change "ATT ICS" to "" and reboot." changed isp.cingular to wap.cingular in the proxy section too! good luck all! |

Hello, Today I made a usual call to my dad, he could hear me, but said it was extremely hard. I thought maybe it was his phone, but after calling and testing it with several people, I found it was mine. I restarted the phone, and it still isn't working. It just stopped! I havent installed anything new, or the such, and since they can hear me some, I wonder if it has to do with the ROM or drivers, not the actual Microphone. Has anyone had this problem? Thanks, Hagie92 Mine did the same thing about 2 weeks after i got it. I had to take it back to Att and get a new one. I think there may be a flaw with a few mobiles |

last night while i was at work i got a txt on my BJII and when i hit unlock it said hit the * so i hit ti and di nothing i repeated to do it and it still did nothing so i took the battery out and restarted the phone then i was driving home went to check something on my phone and i was having the same problem again so i once again had to take my battery out, anyone know what could be causing this or how to fix it I posted in another section, thought it might be helpful. If your screen will not unlock, press the (fn) button, I have noticed that the (fn) key still works when the keys are locked. If the (fn) key gets accidentally pressed 2 times, it locks the keys to the (fn) setting ie. a=/ b=# and so on. so when you are trying to press (s) it is actually pressing (*) which, strangely enough, dose not unlock the phone; you have to press (fn) and then press (s) to unlock the phone. This is just my understanding from trial and error. |

Sometimes BJ II is dead for no reason. The screen is still on but all the keys dont' respond. When I was using pocket pc, a quick way to fix this is to soft set it. However, I am unable to find a way to soft set my BJ II. I try to hold the power button for several seconds but nothing happens. The only think i can do is to pull out the battery and then put it back again. Is there anyway to soft reset BJII without pulling out the battery? Thanks! Just a tip, once a week or so my phone sometimes will not unlock. I would push power, 9 or 1 and then push the unlock soft-key, it pops up a message like normal telling me to press * but after I press star it dims the backlight and goes right back to a locked homescreen. over and over again. If I type in 911 then push the cancel softkey on the emergency call screen, then unlock softkey then * it unlocks fine. Just a tip to anyone whose phone doesnt come unlocked. I used to take the battery out and have to wait for it to boot back up again. Also what would be the point of a screen lock if any key could light it up and run the battery down in your pocket? If your screen will not unlock, press the (fn) button, I have noticed that the (fn) key still works when the keys are locked. soooooooooooo i accidentally deleted my contacts off my sim, but they're still on my phone thankfully. I used this program to transfer all my sim contacts to outlook in my blackjack II http://www.marauderzstuff.com/programs/m2simcopy/default.aspx I then started removing all the duplicate SIM contacts in my adress book not thinking they would delete the contacts off my sim card. is there anyway to get them back on my simcard from outlook contacts? Thanks There is a program called SimManager http://www.1800pocketpc.com/2008/03/21/htc...nager-v625.html That will copy contacts both ways, from sim to phone and phone to sim. When copying from phone to sim make sure to go menu--> tools--> options and set which number you would like to associate with the name(ie home, mobile, work...) After you copy all the number you can go to settings --> phone --> all calls --> call options --> and then uncheck show sim contacts to hide duplicated contacts. This way you have a backup of all number on your sim incase the worst happens and your phone dies. I have attached the cab file. It is freeware |
