Anyone know if there are firmware updates for the Vodafone 1605? Someone else at work has got one with a later ROM version (mine's 1.20.161.5, his is 1.20.161.6) and I was wondering if there was a way to upgrade. Also... The Vodafone manual has inconsistencies with the phone, apparantly the Vodafone Calender Today screen plugin has options, but the options button is greyed out on mine and his. We were wondering if anybody with a later version has this button enabled. Cheers! |

Camera - I've had the bugs listed in a post above, ie, take photo and get grey photo instead of actuall photo, also camera app closing when taking photo then remaining running preventing me from starting the camera again. I'm wondering if its a storage card issue, I have a 2 gig sandisc card and I'm wondering if it's not fast enough to write the data from the camera. I will test this later by slecting built in storage for saving photo's. Same with my v1605, except instead of a grey rectangle, I get all black. |

QUOTE(misfit @ Mar 21 2006, 07:24) You're welcome! I hadn't checked the board in months, and the time I should come back is only a few days after you post. Weird! My MPx200 died a few months ago, so not sure if I'll be doing another theme now. Depends on what my next phone is |

QUOTE(sjalloq @ Oct 10 2005, 14:32) I love this theme but I think I've found a missing background. I've installed it on an Orange SPV C500 with the latest Orange ROM. All the Start menu backgrounds are present and correct apart from the Settings menu. If you go Start->Settings, the background is plain and doesn't have the jpg picture. I don't think I put a settings menu background in! I didn't think you could Thanks for the feedback, as always, it's appreciated! |

Hehe... Thanks! It's funny how people keep referencing Blade001's Futurama theme. It was on my phone for over a year before I made this one myself, so I took a lot of inspiration from it. So to Blade001, I tilt my cap. |

Have you considered taking homescreen designing to the next level by doing a complete phone theme? It's much more rewarding to see all of the screens related to one another. |

Heya, sorry for the slow reply, I've been on holiday. Download the Zip file to your PC and unzip the CAB files. Now use ActiveSync to copy the CAB files to \\IPSM\Windows\Start Menu\ Press the Programs list key on your phone (left hotkey) and the CAB files should be listed there. If not, you may need to go into one of the programs list subfolders to reset the top level, so go into "Games" or something and then press back. Hope this helps! |

PhatCat... Thanks! D412TA... What's the problem exactly? Is it installing ok and not showing up or not showing up correctly? Or is it failing to install? What phone have you got? I haven't fully tested the Media Player CAB with WM2003 phones. |

QUOTE(PhatCat @ Jun 30 2005, 21:41) Fixed my own problem. You must install it to the phone storage and not to your storage card or it won't work. Once I deleted the install and reinstalled to the phones memory (which I'm running really damn low on ... hehe) it worked like a charm. Thanks for the extra info. If I do an update I'll include it in the readme. I'm surprised though, I thought I'd got all the paths in the registry to use the appropriate string in the CAB. QUOTE(PhatCat @ Jun 30 2005, 21:41) The only problem I have now is that the LCD pic isn't showing up but I think that has to do with the fact that the reg location might be different from WM2002 to WM2003. I'll investigate and see what I can come up with. I don't know about WM2003 and the LCD. This is why I've included the LCD in the Zip on its own. If you find out the answer, let me know and I'll update the CAB appropriately like I've done with the Media Player skin CAB. Has anybody had any success with the Media Player skin? I still can't get the text to size properly or the video to playback. I also had problems playing videos with blade001's Futurama MP skin too. Maybe it's just my MPx200... |

I've not tested it with Theme Changer. Could you try changing the theme using the phone settings and see if that works? Thanks for the feedback! Instead of an Autobots theme for my next one, here are some alternatives I've considered: - Binal-Tech (aka Alternators) - Beast Machines - Dreamwave Autobots - G1 Cartoon - Beast Wars - RiD |

File Name :: Transformers Decepticons (Dreamwave Style) Author :: Stomski Category :: Cartoons Description :: WM2002 homescreen including the following screens:
It also includes the MPx200 external LCD screen on its own. After installing, you need to set both the homescreen and colour theme to Decepticons for the purple / grey. If this receives enough support, I'll consider doing an Autobot one too Thanks for looking! Updated Tue, Jun 21 2005 6:48 pm View File |

Hi there Transfans! I'm so sorry about not responding to any of the posts. Short story, I fell ill, played too much Doom 3 and Tekken 5, organised a console gaming tournament down here in Bristol and have had crazy work stuff going on. Seeing as nobody seems to have a suggestion on how to fix media player, I'm going to just have that as a seperate CAB file. The other problem involving the volume change screen, I think I'll just ignore. Expect a release soon in the downloads section If it gets rated highly enough, I will do an Autbots version too. Orion: I'll upload the LCD logo once the main release is done. Thanks to all who tried my theme out! |

I'll include both registry entries then to cover all bases. BTW Ocker, what phone have you got? Does anybody have any suggestions about the screens? I'm a little concerned about the Devestator on the incoming call picture. Was thinking the seekers (Starscream et al) would be more appropriate, "incoming", get it?? Also, I'll do the G1 Autobots skin once I get all the technical problems sorted in this one. Then I was thinking of doing a Tekken5 one. |

QUOTE(ocker @ Mar 8 2005, 02:29) Nope, don't have a storage card. all I did to install was put it on the phone, open file manager and open the files. I think /storage is the designation for this phones internal flash? Oh right. Mine is \IPSM\. QUOTE Are there supposed to be any other keys in HKLM\software\microsoft\Windows Media Player8? All I have in there is Paramaters, and under that Skindir and Skinfile Seems a little light on to me... Maybe this phone has a different WMP version? That would be my guess. Did you try changing the defaultportraitskin value? Is this under \Windows Media Player 8\ or is the key elsewhere? Thanks for your help |
