I caught Jade on 'This Morning' this morning, (funnily enough) and it was cringeworthy. Sounded like a broken record too me. I didn't actually see the footage but the way i was told was: Bro: Hear about what happened to Jade? Me: No? Bro: Shs being accused of being racist on CBB. Me: Why? Bro: She called an indian women a poppadom. Its not really the same as the big brother version i guess... But still i agree with Genaldar in terms of it being a comical subject, its only focusing on a certain aspect of a character isn't it? Like i used to be called 'FA Cup' for having large ears as a child, (i can hear the lols) I used to reply with a similiar insult and these people turned out to be some of my best mates. Its both a funny and touchy subject i think! |

I share Samsonites view Jade did make a comment that when spoken to the masses is blatently going to cause trouble. I didn't watch the show and when i heard what Jade said a laugh escaped me. I'm now not sure what this means? As if this is a racist remark does that make me racist :S Did anyone else find it funny? |

I know Big Brother is something which alot of people don't approve or care for but every forum in the world has this question but MoDaCo so i thought i would post it! Did Jade utter a racial remark or idiotic insult? Does it even matter if she mean't it, just the fact she said it? IF your unsure what i am talking about just google shilpa poppadom. My view is that there seems to be a blurred line to what is racism. Any comment can cause someone distress, such as the french being reffered to as frogs (no offence) us english as limeys. I think its all aboout how we accept these comments, I can laugh them off and choose to as i feel its the best way. I think Jade is guilty of bullying not racism, alongside the blond from S-CLub 7, and Danielle. I can't believe the blond (i think her name is joe) acted this way on BB as i distinctly remember watching a show in which she explained she was victimised and bullied as a child and explained to children not to bully. Erm? The words 'paint', 'kettle' and 'black' spring to mind! Discuss |

The plot thickens... Just recieved an e-mail from another e-bayer who bought a phone of this theif, he told me his phone was without notice just switched off. Im not sure where this leaves me, mine isn't barred...yet. I just wondered, my simcard is years old i didn't buy it with the phone so surely Orange couldn't bar my sim card? |

Two totally different views there! I'm not going to inform the fuzz as noone has done anything wrong in my eyes, just accusations of scams or infact a theft? I won't call him again as he will get back to me if he really needs the information in which i can share my concerns then. I have asked Orange to call me if any changes apply to my account or there is a threat of termination. I mean i have given Orange all the information about the caller adn email addresses so I don't see what else i should/could do? |

I do think it is legit but i felt it strange that: 1) the caller asked if i worked for orange and when i asked if that was relevant he dismissed it. 2) Orange have no records of the call or any problems with my account I mean like i said earlier he knows everything about my account details, what harm could it do telling him who i bought the item off on ebay? One more thing, he said he thinks he knows the ebayer in questions username and mentioned it, asking me if that was the seller. I couldn't remember at the time but I just checked and he was right. Perplexing. |

Just spoke to Orange, no one has called me in there records this morning, and as you said mcwarre, Orange confirmed that my account would have been barred if it was allegedly stolen. He even said that my account would have been 'noted' if anything of this sort had occured. He reccomended I do not give any of the information he asked for, but it's my choice. Weird!? |

I just recieved a call on my c550 from a mobile number, and it was from Orange Corporate Security. I know it was from this number as when i questioned him he told me my D.O.B, my home address, my imei number and when i first used the phone. So if its not a legit Orange call what could i possibly tell him he doesn't already know! He told me my phone was stolen and he assumed i bought it off of ebay. I did buy it off of Ebay but obviously didn't know it was stolen. From a retail store apparently. So basically i have to send him an email with the information of the seller on ebay, such as his username etc. Then im not sure what will happen? Will i have a leg to stand on if he decides to bar the phone? I bought it for £108 inc P+P, but i really like the phone! Has this happened to anyone before? Any knowledge on this would be much appreciated! |

My phone kept crashing randomly so i decided to give it its first hard reset. When i pessed "0" to hard reset the phone went bright white and stayed that way for about 5 minutes, after this all power went, i doubt it ran out of battery as it was almost fully charged last time it was switched on. Now the phone does nothing, no power. Even when i plug it into the charger the charging light wont light up. That to me suggests its totally dead Any help is gratefuly appreciated! I can't send to HTC to fix as i bought this off of a friend too! |

Hey all, My C500 which has lasted me half a year is on its last legs. The start button became tempermental a few weeks back but now thats the least of my problems, the fone crashed earlier in a huff and now wont switch back on. It did turn on once to flash battery low, then i couldnt press ok, or any button for that matter to any affect. I removed the battery, tried once more and the screen loaded for a few seconds then went bright green. Hmmmm, is it sick ? |
