This is how PocketNesterPlus is installed? You install it on your PC then copy and paste program files to Smartphone?

edit: Adding on my post, I wanted to say that this is abnormal installation method and just put out there another BlackJack2 owner couldnt get this emulator working either. But if this is true about installing it this way than no wonder I couldn't get it working. I'll try it out and then come back and update if it works for me or not.

Hey I know there are some GBoyAdvance SP projects going on rite now, but they are not exactly active so I figured I'd start this topic to see if I can gather a collective list of emulators that actually work on SmartPhones. I have a BlackJack II and have tryed a few of the gboy advance sp emu'z but they dont work and I believe they were not intended for SmartPhones. If anybody has any emu'z that they know about that work then let me know. THnaks -Hitman

update to the blackjack2 compatibility issue - it will boot up the program now but once i hit load rom and choose one it just terminates the GBAce app.

i will test this with more games and let u guys know if its due to some compatibility issue with the roms or if its due to a compatibility issue with blackjack2/windowsmobile6

if anyone had a similar problem and fixd it plz let me know cuz this is the last system i need to get working to get my heart's content thanks peace fellow gamegeekz

here's a guess : you tryed loading the save ram by accident, make sure you load up CHrono Trigger.smc and not the other smaller one with same name but diff extension bruddah

edit: i am not exactly an expert yet but are you aware your current OS is Windows Mobile 6 PROFESSIONAL?

my only advice is this:

1/attempt to obtain the "Desktop Installation Files" to each of the programs you desire. (this will be an EXE which runs on your desktop pc while you are connected to your phone and will install in that manner.
*PS--do not use a iMac for this as most of the files (ESPECIALLY EMULATORS) are probably formatted for Windows

2/for the remaining apps that still do not work attempt to find replacements which are explicitly said to be WM6 PRO compatible, as part of the problem COULD be that you are running WM6PRO and not WM6 Standard.

Please try those steps out then come back and tell us the results. Im sorry I couldnt offer more advice but the more you tell the people here the more they can help.

firstly pocketsnes does work on blackjack and the original poster even mentioned that

secondly blackjack is not a landscape device

third pocketsnes does work on landscape devices

Just wanna say I got PocketSNES 1.53 on my BlackJack2 w/ WM6Standard and its working beautifully. Thank you for all your hard work Masterall and whoever helped him. You guys rock!! (now if i could just get a working edit: found working version of PicoDrive ( Sgen ) by Masterall, GboyAdvance I would be in heaven ;-) ***i kno im greedy***

to the Original Poster the esteemed Mr Masterall, is this intended to work on my blackjack2 w/windowsmobile6 ?

it wont work as-is and i believe its because my windows is not compatible with the winCE version u made GBAce for so i was just wondering if theres any plans for a WM5/6 release..

i could be wrong but anyways the thing wont even run

PS-> most stuff that works on WM5 works on WM6 at least in my case.

dreamcast too different? dude its got about 10 years on the ps1 i think its too different. not even comparable really considering dreamcast has the grafix of a ps2 and ps1 has the grafix of a sega saturn... your gonna have to wait until the next business cycle or possibly next few business cycles go by to get a smartphone/pocketpc strong enough to emulate dreamcast.

Also i did get 1 Sega Genesis emulator 2 work but all the games are rendered incorrectly. Lastly, GNU Boy wont work for me either. I cannot get GBoy or GBABoy to work on my SP i have a Sig617 aka BlackJackII. I got the 2getfile DLL all set... not quite sure what i'm doing wrong.

I would like to see a well commented example. Something like a Galaga game would be great! And if possible have a C++ Source which is coded to work in the Windows Mobile 6 Smartphone platform. This would be really awesome and I could learn everything I need to get started from something like this. Even if it was very basic but pointed out the coding mechanisms behind such an engine it would be very helpful.
