Just got my case-mate case and I love it, has a great feel to it and its very sturdy. http://www.case-mate.com/phones/BlackJack-II/blackjack2case btw, comes with a nice (free) screen protector. |

This has been discussed here: http://www.modaco.com/content/Samsung-i617...m/264141/music/ Are you exiting GPS Test? Once GPS Test acquires a signal, press the home or end key to go to the home screen, then launch Google Maps. Don't close GPS Test. yeah its still on in the background, am I supposed to change the google gps settings to com4 or leave it default? |

okay for the GPS "fix"... I installed everything and I get a signal when I run GPSTest... but when I start up google maps and try to find location using GPS, it doesnt find anything (just says seeking satelites 0).... am I supposed to leave it on auto in settings or manually set it to com4 etc?? both dont seem to work regardless. |

This makes sense, as I know i live in a 3G area but when I look at my signal when not in use goes from 3G to edge in a matter of seconds. |

After trying every possible way to get my GPS to work I had to resort to downloading and subscribing to telenav, although its a killer app I cant see myself paying 10$ a month for something I rarely use (other than to impress friends). So I'm wondering if setting up the telenav somehow "turned on" the gps in my bjII. Has anyone else had to do the same?? Did google maps work once telenav was unsubscribed? |

trying to install TeleNav (since it didnt come installed, just had a link to the install).... and it wont even recognize my BJII nor will it find it on the list od supported phones. anyone have any problems getting it to install on theirs? did it come preinstalled or did you also have to download it? EDIT: figured out you HAVE to use IE for this download, Opera is not suported... yet. I had to start the telenav subscription only because the modaco gps fix didnt work on my bjII, so as soon as my first free month is up I plan to cancel and see if my gps still works with google maps. |

QUOTE(combustion @ Dec 31 2005, 18:59) Using same sim I had in my mpx200 but now it only connects to cingular not tmobile? this phone is supposed to be unlocked already but now I'm not so sure. any advice would be greatly apreciated. okay I did the operator unlock and when I used the SPVService tool it said the phone was already unlocked... really stumped as to why it wont connect to tmobile's network. :/ |
