beta player wont install on the c550 but i'm still waiting to app unlock cos it wont do it the ota method

i cant unlock via the orange developers web site.ive run the orange register app on my c550 but it never goes through to the confirmation screen.my e200 before unlocked straight away.apart from registry edits which im not too confident about has anyone got any other ideas :?: ive also emailed the dev web site but as yet no reply p.s. does anyone know whats the best way of making/playing videos on the c550 i used to use beta player and convert using virtual dub if and when i finally do get it unlocked.

my spv has stopped recognising my sd card altogether no matter how many times i eject it and put it back in? infact i've tried 2 cards (impact 64mb and also lexar media 64mb) card and neither show in the phone.All i get when i open smart explorer is profiles,storage,temp and windows.I've tried formatting (using sp task manager) both cards and all it says is "unable to access sd/mmc card!" any idea's??? :?

Called orange and ended up with a replacement the next day.Just hope this one doesnt go the same way!

i'm having the same problems but with the start/unlock soft key.everytime i press it the start/unlock box lights up but stays lit!!! if i push the joystick it goes onto the next menu,this seems to happen wether i'm on the home screen or any other(e.g. pressing to send a text).its really annoying is a replacement the only cure? :?

Thanks awarner,finally managed to sync my phone.Changed the firewall settings as u said and it sync's fine now.I'm a bit green when it comes to pc's!!!!

hello,i have been having the same probs with my connection to the pc and its doing my head in has anybody got a clue??? ive tried running the software on a friends pc and it all works fine,uninstalled active sync and also the usb's but this hasn't worked either.
