I have a long story to tell about this PDA.

I bought it for the first time in February 2008, at the time it was the best on the market.
After 2, 3 days of use I noticed that it was cracking at the two lower corners. As an equipment with a manufacturing defect can to be exchanged during the first 15 days, I returned to the store where I bought it for the exchange. They came with another (the second) cracking too.

Then I move to another shop of the same seller (to 50 km away) and they came with another one (the third) cracking too.

Finally I move to another shop of the same seller (to 25 km away) and they came with another one (the fouth) cracking too.

After to spend much time and diesel. I gave up.

The sellers on the shops look at my phone with suspicion, thinking it was my fault, but when they unbox the others, they became embarrassed. They gave me back my money.

On March 2008, I tried again. I unbox the phone on the shop in front of the seller and it was OK, no cracking corners, and I bought it once more (the fiveth). At my home, I tried to turn it on but it doesn't work. A software problem! Damn it.

I came back to the shop and they came with another (the sixth). This one, again, has no cracking corners but when I tried to turn it on, it doesn't work. The same software problem. And I gave up.

At July 2008, I bought it again (the seventh). I unbox the phone on the shop in front of the seller and it was OK, no cracking corners, and this time, I turn it on too (placing the battery, you know). It was OK. Finally.

Until now it was fine.

About the cracking corners I study the case with the seller and our thoery is that the T9 screws were tightened with extra force. May be the machine on the line mountig was uncalibrated (no quality assurance). Once cracking (even a little bit, barely seen), cracking forever, getting worse by temperature (dillatation) or vibrating calls.

Now I'm exploring it almost for the first time. By now I think this phone is the best on the market quality (many features in one) versus price. Not any more the best. May be the TyNT II. After all, the acelerometer is missing.
