QUOTE(hferdina @ Feb 8 2006, 13:09) Resource manager shows 2 Gb however Are you also using a SanDisk? I wonder if that makes a difference in reading the full 2GB in explorer? |

This may sound dumb, and you probably already tried it, but just in case... Have you taken out the battery for a while, then put it back in, then trying to turn it on or charge it? After messing with my MPX220 several times, same thing has happened to me where I thought I bricked it, but doing that actually worked. If not then maybe a hard reset? I had to try that once. Just once. Luckilly it worked as well. |

All I use is the Windows Media Player. By using Windows Movie Maker I convert all the videos I have to .WMV format. Saves alot of space and runs clean. I have put full movies and some South Park episodes and watched them on long trips without a problem. For music, same thing. I just convert them to .WMA files way smaller then MP3s and WAVs. I've tried the DIVX player for smartphone but couldn't get it to work the first few tries so I just stick with Windows Media Player. For all those downloads and instructions just do a search and you'll find what you're looking for. Especially on this website. |

Just a few weeks ago I upgraded to the 1.46 ROM, and when I did the usual REGEDIT tweak to assign ringtones from my SD Card it worked just fine. Now about a week ago I upgraded to the 3.50 rom, & it will not let me assign custom tones for my contacts.. If I move those .WAV files to my phone it allows it, but I have a bunch of .WAV files that I don't want to move cause of the space it would take up. Using the regular REGEDIT tweak I can assign my .WAV files and sounds from the SD card, but only if it point's to the Root of the SD Card. Anyone else have this issue? Help! |

I read that in another forum as well. From what I understand is that the MPX220's they replace it with are with an upgraded ROM. 1.47 I think. I'm hoping that means that they haven't given up on the 220's and will eventually have an WM5 rom update available? I've gone ahead and updated to 3.50 and haven't had any volume, bluetooth, or random shut-off issues. |

Not exactly a way to manually reject calls, but the way I do is by using SmartFilter Lite. It's free and you choose that contacts you want rejected as well as callers with No ID or Private. Hope that's helpful. |

Answer to that as far as I know is 'no'. What I use now is a program called SmartFilter. You can download the Lite version which is free, and just check off the contacts you don't want to answer. Not exactly what you may want but it works well for me. Hope that was helpful. |

Everything I've seen as far as WM5 for the MPX's has only been for the 200, not the 220. I haven't heard anything new and I've been looking all weekend for this so called 'leaked' WM5. I wanted to loaded on my MPX200 which is just for back up anyways and see how it would work. Still watching and waiting for WM5 but for now I'm still happy with my MPX220, I don't see how any other's can complain about it. Yes I 've had my freeze ups and stuff but when people try showing off their phones I still pull out mine and everyone bows down to the MPX220. Just my 2 cent's. |

I got a Windows Mobile 2003 Upgrade off e-bay for under $5 and it was well worth it. I was sketchy at first but when my MPX200 completely froze up for no reason I didn't have much choice.
Since I got my unlocked MPX200 off e-bay, I went searching for other options. Just in case... Well after suggestions from Motorola, a Hard Reset fixed it. Since I lost all my files, etc. I decided to try an upgrade. After some tweaks and setting changes, my MPX200 WM2003 is better then ever before. |
