I know it might sound drastic, but have you tried a hard reset? (then you'll have the hassle of re-installing any programs you've installed) I was hoping to avoid it It took me ages to get it all set up after putting the WM6 on it, and I've taken ages to finally get it working with my TomTom. I'd kinda like to just re-install the Contacts bit, but not sure if that's possible. |

Hi, I have a Vario II, with WM6 on it. Today, my list of contacts has 'disapeared' but I know it's there. If I select 'Contacts' from the Programs menu, nothing happens. If I select 'Contacts' from the dialling screen, nothing happens. I can't select any contacts for sending SMS/MMS The phone doesn't recognise any incoming calls, it just displays the number. But! I have SPB Menu installed, and that can see my contacts It won't let me use them for anything, but it can see that they exist. Anybody got any ideas? It's driving me mad! Many thanks, Andy |

This was working for me this morning. I was quite pleased. Now I want it to work (lunchtime @ work) it's back to the same old "Failed to find network" message |

I looked at this deal and thought it was a corker, until I realised that the £21 price is after the half-price line-rental's been applied. Ten months @ £42/month is a bit steep! That is a bit steep. If it was something with Wi-Fi (Vario II) and on FlexT 30 Web'n'Walk I'd be signing up now. |

becuase i want a one click way of doing it. It so i can get in the car click rotate button, run tomtom and drive away in the quickest possible time. (from what i have read with tomtom 6 you will need this as they have reomved the rotate screen option from the setting etc) Couldn't you set one of the buttons to do it? I've set mine to rotate the screen if I press and hold the voice dial button. |

I'm miles from civilisation. And it seems that since I put the new ROM on my Vario that the T-Mobile MMS settings have gone. Does anybody know what they are? Cheers |

QUOTE as usual we'll have technical employees of both Orange and Microsoft Why only Orange? Many of us have left Orange for other companies (mostly T-Mobile I suspect. Much better tarrifs, and hopefully even better to come in April) |

Hi, I've tried to use the Traffic TV application on my T-Mobile Vario, but it can't connect to download the updates. The settings here don't work, and their customer support isn't much help either. Does anyone have this application running succesfully on T-Mobile? I'd like to give it one last try before I start demanding a refund. Many thanks, Andy |

Tap on the signal-strength indicator at the top of the screen. Gives you the option for flight mode. Also, Voice Command has a "Flight mode on" option |

Sorry, I'm no help to you. I'm trying to use TrafficTV too, on T-Mobile Vario. All I can get are error messages when trying to connect. I too have emailed their 'support' but had no reply. I'm not impressed so far  |

QUOTE(adchaffey @ Jan 6 2006, 15:21) I think I'll wait. The Vario has a few bugs, but I'm not sure it's worth the hassle. If they could tell me what the upgrade acheived then maybe.... "The upgrade process will erase all personalised data including software applications and settings. This will bring your device to the state when you first bought it." "All email settings will be lost and therefore they will need to be reconfigured - please make a note of these prior to running the upgrade. All personalised data including software applications, T-Mobile downloads, web favourites, any POP3 emails, SMS, MMS, and other settings would be erased during the upgrade process." It's a T-Mobile update. Surely it should come with T-Mobile SMS and MMS settings "Once the upgrade has been completed you will need to reload any applications - applications provided on the separate CD when the device was bought, but also separate applications that you have bought and loaded onto the device." |

Thanks for the help guys. I've installed the extended ROM now, and MMS application is there now. It's changed the menus a bit (and changed the colour scheme to T-Mobile pink, but that soon went!) but I didn't have to hard reset or lose applications or data. |

QUOTE(bennish @ Dec 4 2005, 23:45) ah. I had this same problem, and pondrew would be the first to admonish you for it It sounds like you didn't install the extended rom? The MMS app should be in there... I guess that means a hard reset? And having to re-install all my apps? I was afraid of that. |

Hi, I've got a Vario on T-Mobile. I'm very pleased with it But..... I can't send MMS messages. There doesn't seem to be an application associated with MMS. I can select a picture to send via MMS, but when I do that nothing happens. Under messaging, there's an option to 'Configure MMS' but I have no idea what the settings should be, and without an MMS application there's not much point. I've tried calling T-Mobile, and their technical dept were going to call me back, but I'm still waiting. Anybody got any ideas? Could the application be hiding in there somewhere? I'm baffled, but as I've got a few free MMS available I'd like to get it sorted. Thanks in advance, Andy |

Got my MDA Vario this morning. Nice! But.... when I try to connect to the web, it's asking me for the settings, which strangely aren't preset in the phone. (I've tried CS but apparently they're 'unable to connect' my call) As I've got 40 meg of inclusive data I'd really like to get started. Does anybody know the following settings for T-Mobile? ISP Server phone number User Name Password Access point name Thanks in advance, Andy |

Just ordered mine Hello T-Mobile, goodbye Orange. Couldn't find it on the website, so ordered it by phone. Seemed like good service, but I suppose it would be when they're trying to sell you something. How much do think a 10 month old C500 is worth |

QUOTE(atonks @ Aug 9 2005, 08:38) Nice game, good graphics. Sound is annoying, but can be turned off with one keypress (#) during game. Big problem though..... I've had this game less than a day and I've completed the career modes already So it's nifty and flash, but a very limited lifespan. I had one more play with this last night, and after about 20 minutes I've finished Checkpoint mode. Game over. Back to Flux Challenge, Pocket Mini Golf and Virtual Pool Mobile for lasting gameplay. |

 Installed it, and it doesn't work. Just sticks at the 'intro' screen. It's changed all the fonts on my phone which now look terrible and various menus etc don't fit on the screen anymore. It won't let me un-install it either. I tried the link to 'Submit a bug or comment to the developer of this software' and the link doesn't work. I'm not happy! Can anyone tell me how to change the fonts back? |
