It looks like the people at coolsmartphone are upset at orange as well - by the looking at the forum links you'll see that most of them are planning to leave orange as well. http://www.coolsmartphone.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12430 http://www.coolsmartphone.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12401 |

looks like we have another dud smart pda phone with the X1 as you will see from the video, the X1 is desperately crying for some dedicated video acceleration. Looks like HTC have messed things up for Sony Ericcson. http://www.theunwired.net/?item=videoview-...-6-1-smartphone hopefully i'm wrong and it will be better once its released commercially. |

Good Bye HTC - Hello Sony Ericsson (or Samsung i900). If HTC listened to its users 8000 of us might have stayed faithful, but now we have (or will have) options. This Sony is like Phone Porn - its gorgeous. I want i want. |

If the processor, ram and rom are high, i'm getting one. If they are high HTC need to be very worried as samsung would have justs bitch slapped them. IPhone wlll have lost all (if they had any in the first place) bragging rights. |

(Sorry 4 my ngliz) The s710 is not so slow, Windows Mobile (2003, 2003SE, 2005, 6...) is too slow, for example coz the first time you want to acces to a link on the Start Menu he looks all the store space for broken links (Coz we, Idiots, don't know if we have erase a program) If you install a Task Manager and an alternative link manager like Right Menu with your more used links, he works much better. A 200 Mhz processor with 64 Mb RAM must been a rocket with a good designed mobile operative system. My old PI 120 Mhz 32 Mb RAM with Windows 95 is'nt so slow but. one more time, Microsoft have maked a twisted s*** SOP. It is slow - i know how to take care of it; i dont use any themes, i always kill all programs from task manager. |

Hi, I'd like to get the classic.wma ringtone off my C500 so I can use it on my new vox. Activesync doesn't let me copy it, it says it doesn't allow you to copy stuff that is in ROM. Failing that, any ideas where I can source another copy of classic.wma. Google isn't coming up with much. Thanks |

Thank your very much for your explanations, but when I click on your link it opens a page where I am proposed to download a .php page ... It seems it does not point the right file. The download works fine. Try again using a different browser. its a .rar file that should download. |

you first need an application with which you can emulate a touchscreen on your smartphone. Copy the folder labeled "FakeCursor" to your phone. I like to put it in \Program Files but you can really put it anywhere. Now you need to map a hardware key to \Program Files\Fakecursor\Fakecursor.exe. Since many of the phones may be different in this regard I cannot offer specifics as to ow to do this. Most of TomTom6 you can use without touchscreen emulation, but certain things (setting up GPS or selecting from a list) need to use fakecursor. When the need arises, just push the button you mapped fakecursor to and a crosshair will appear. Use the crosshair like you would use your stylus by moving it with the d-pad or phone joystick and you're all set. On my Tmobile Dash, pushing the fakecursor button again to close it will bump me out to the homescreen, but TT6 is still still running. Kind of a pain but still better than Route66 ----- Could someone post their experience about if it woks/doesnt work. Thanks. |

I'm in the same position, i cant find a decent replacement for my c500. I dont want sightly better i want the replacement to be 3-4 times better. normal phones seem to be able to do it, why cant smart phones. i might just move to pocket pc/phone and get a 3100 or better. |
