Du kan prøve nogle af Imate romfilerne (ftp://ftp.clubimate.com/) eller se om du kan finde en til Qtek. Det burde være muligt.

Og jeg er rimelig sikker at det vil virke selvom tastaturet ikke er dansk.

Looks to me there's nothing new under the sun other than a few new icons and some programs that should've been there all along. I'm sure most people would agree that the thing MS phones definitely haven't had going for them is the GUI and general nice look 'n feel. I simply don't understand why they don't do something major about that area. As mentioned; full skinability, alpha blending - the list is long! ... I mean, is this supposed to be innovative???

The only thing it has going for it is the fact that it's fairly thin... Definitely a no-go in my opinion

It also will be very useful if MS will finally devise some built-in skinning standard, but I guess its too much to expect.

Yes, that would indeed be nice, but I very seriously doubt that's ever going to happen... and for the GPU, no, that's not gonna happen either. I mean, we're up to WM5 and they're still using CPU-powered "curtain-loading"; I can't recall a single other class of hardware devices that still do that :/

In messaging, there should be Search option as i have over 100 sms, wen i want to search for a sms, i have to go through 100sms to find it.

Yes, that's definitly something that should've been there ages ago. Many people have 500+ sms's. What about some ordering? Sms ordered by person, country, etc?

From the same think-tank that came up with the animal tariffs no doubt, but hey "The Futures Bright."

My thought exactly... I'm not sure what they're thinking, but an operator based IM network is simply not something you launch. Unless it works on at least one major IM network it's gonna disapear faster than a cheeseburger in front of Rosie Odonnell...

Sounds to me that a Hard Reset would be the way to go, however, especially the bluetooth/GPRS problems sound a bit more fishy, so might not fix those. Anyway, as I recall this procedure works on the XP2 too:

QUOTE
1. Power off the phone and unplug it from the computer.
2. Press and hold soft1 and soft2 keys.
3. Press and hold power button for around 1 to 1.5 seconds. Release power button. Keep hold soft1 and soft2 keys.
4. Later, screen shoould show instructions to ask user to press '0' key to reset to factory default.
5. Press '0' within the timeout period, which is only several seconds only.
6. If no instruction is shown on the screen, repeat steps 1 to 4.
Timing is sensitive

If you can't get to any point where you can uninstall the program, maybe try and hard reset it? This can be done like this:

QUOTE

Ok, I think I'll join the crowd in saying that this phone really has a very strange design... I mean, its starting to look like that (supposingly) "stylish" line of phone Nokia has... Someone, pull the emergency break, please...

I have a Jabra bt602s which I use with my c600. It does both handsfree and Wireless stereo. Each earpiece has a big button on it. The right one can be used to pause your music player (works with WMP) and the left one is used to speak voice commands. Works very nice and sound quality is about as good as you can get it I think smile.gif

Hope that helps smile.gif

It might sound silly, but I've been wanting to see a html webserver for smartphone ever since the first phones with wifi came about... I mean, imagine you're out somewhere and all you have to do to get access you to files would be to enter in the IP of the phone and then browse away... would be neat, right? Also, you could use it as always-on web server at home, in case you don't want a big 500W monster bustling away 24/7...

QUOTE(flodis79 @ Jun 20 2006, 23:33) *
The COM4 is chosen all the time as outgoing port on the pc and I cannot choose COM6 or COM7 at all on the pc.. I'm stuck now...

I think that could be because the system might have it reserved. As far as I know there is no way to get around this, but I sincerly hope I'm mistaken.

However, my logic tells me that this should'n matter really. If you have COM port X assigned to the bluetooth partnership on your pc and COM port Y on your phone, then setting activesync (on the pc) to COM port X should give you a connection to COM port Y on the phone. However, I don't think this is the problem, it more the problem of getting the phone to actually try and initiate a connection to the pc (which is the only way it works aparently) and this I haven't been able to do either...

Ya, saw those too... the sad thing was that it was probably one of the most obvious scams ever; all of the auctions were from sellers with 10 feedback from users with names like dj28e923(0) and for strange reasons they had all left the exact same feedback... I mean, even Ray Charles could see that they were not genuine... *rolls eyes*

You want one of these:

ftp://ftp.clubimate.com/i-mate_SP5_NRE_2.5.333.1.zip (Northern Europe; Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Netherlands, German, UK English, US English)
ftp://ftp.clubimate.com/i-mate_SP5_WWE_2.5.331.2.zip (Worldwide English; US English, UK English and some other I don't remember)
ftp://ftp.clubimate.com/i-mate_SP5_RUS_2.5.332.1.zip (Russian?)

Seing that you're from Samoa, you probably want the WWE version.

Do you have the Direct Push thing turned on? Is it working for you? I am getting emails delivered only when I connect the phone to the computer! Which means the sync is not working over GPRS.

Yes, I have Direct Push turned on, and I've also had SSL on the whole time
