Here are the GPS icons. The first one is pretty useless, it is just active indicating that an internal GPS is present

The second icon alternates between these two images. This indicates that the GPS is active and searching for a signal.

The last icon also alternates between two images and this indicates that the GPS is active and locked.

I would prefer to just have two icons show up, one say GPS for searching and GPS for locked. I really do not need to see an icon to know that I have an internal GPS.

I am willing to send you portions of my registry and or test out any versions you would like.

For GPS enabled phones a GPS icon would be nice. My Q9h shows a few different GPS icons depending on the status. I also second the need for other network types - 3G and H for the Q9h. Also not sure if this is what was meant by dial-up, but the icon showing that I am tethered would also be appreciated.

Thanks

Please someone can tell me how to configured my device to use this aplication. I have instaled google maps too. My device is a motorola q smartphone wit wm5.0

Osilmi-

This program is only for smartphones with a built-in GPS receiver. It sounds like you have an original Q so this is not applicable to your phone.

This may be slightly off topic, but with this application is there anyway to copy this com port data to a bluetooth com port? I am wondering if there is anyway to use the integrated GPS on my Q9h on my laptop? I use Microsoft Streets and Trips when I travel for full navigation and it would be nice to not have to bring a separate GPS receiver along with me. Sometimes the areas that I am traveling do not have very good data coverage so WLS and GMM are useless plus I like the larger screen and features of the desktop applications.

Thanks for this game. I am running into a slight problem in that when I win, the program crashes. I am using a newer Moto Q with WM6, so that may be the cause. Have you seen this behavior before?

Well, I've got a WM6 device and it was not included. It may be the version of software I have, but I am still looking for a solution. I have Mobile Communicator, but that only works with my work IM.

Glad to hear my guide is still helping people. I ran my phone bridged for a long time without any problems, so I would think you would be fine.

Sorry for the mistake in location  It's just this problem
appears to happen in the US more than any other country.
