Hmm... up till now I am still having the same problem. But I am not using Caller ID. I am using the normal phone function that tells the contact when a call comes in... strange... |

Well, from what I understand what is written here, ATT is going to release the tri band phones, instead of the dual band phones that they were releasing all this while.
This doesn't mean that Motorola is releasing an old model, but ATT is taking an older model and releasing a different version of it. |

Yup... it's really not advisable to paint your phone... just use a dummy set casing, strip your mpx apart, and then put it into the dummy casing. That would work just fine.
However, any of you know where to get the dummy casing? I want to get one too... |

Hmm... this is interesting. But as awarner said, this is a hardware problem. Flashing your ROM will not change that hardware. ATT came out with dual band phones, and not tri band.
The only logical explanation to this is that the user in ireland acquired one of the tri-band ATT phones, but the ROM provided by ATT only supported dual band. Hence, when he flashed the ROM, it became tri-band again. |

QUOTE @ dinoalbert and otacon - the E200 plugin won't work for you but it's not too difficult to rearrange the xml to put the elements you want back into a more normal layout. If needs be, let me know which bits you want and I'll rearrange it for you. That would be excellent. If you can (keeping my fingers crossed), it would be great to have first icon for calendar, second for battery, third for biorhythm, fourth for mru, and fifth for media player. Can that be done? |

That's why the registry needs to be tweaked... Point the registry to your folder on the SD card. This applies to Ringtones, Alarms, Messages and all the other sounds. |

well, it's better not to just flash the image. To be on the safe side, flash the whole ROM in itself. |

I have heard many people talking about bluetooth cards for the mpx200. As what ronny said, the mpx200 just doesn't have the capability to support bluetooth... |

QUOTE yup, you can also save sound files in My Documents in the MMC or sd card, but you really dont have to edit the registry to able to use this sound files. the OS would find them on it's own. Are you sure about that? I had to edit my registry... if not the phone does not find the sound files in the sd card. |

There are many threads here talking bout the battery life already. Do a search and you will see it.
Nevertheless, your question is quite vague. What do you mean by how many times can I use the phone? Are you talking bout talktime only? Or while using GPRS? |

Well, if the ringtone is playing fine, then I guess it's not the problem with the speaker.
Have you tried a hard reset? That would solve practically anything software related. |
