I got an e-mail from i-mate confirming they are working on an update for 1.1.33.13, hopefully they will have it ready within a week. |

Well, now the 1.1.33.13 is unavailable for update. The site says: QUOTE Download 1.1.33.13 is Coming Soon I choose to interpret this as a good sign, i.e. they recognise the problem and their working on "upgrading" the update.... |

I do not think they have understood the problem. It's not a download problem or a problem getting the file. It is the updating software itself which check previous installed "vender ID".
I have no problem downloading 1.1.33.13 neither downloading and installing the 1.2.33.11 version, however flashing the ROM with 1.1.33.13 is not working due to the "vender ID" check. I thought this would be an easy fix for them, they should just give us a new version of ROMUpdateUtility.exe. Please ..... That's my 2 cents ........ BTW: When I posted this, clubimate was offline. |

What would be really cool would be to be able to use any i-mate SP3 ROM image on my i-mate SP3 by bypassing the vendor ID check,I currently get the "invalid vendor ID" so I am unable to change ROM from 1.2.33.11 to 1.1.33.13, (I really would like to change languages...). |

I am in a similar situation, I think there are two possibilities:
1. You could try to get the file T9swedishldb.dll and trick the phone to use Swedish T9 and english menus. 2. Get the list of swedish words and put them into mst9.udb by using this: msT9ed I'm looking for the norwegian versions for the above, but have not been sucessful yet........ |

On my i-mate SP3, which would be the same, I guess, I do the following:
1. Prepare Jabra for pairing - Press and hold the talk button, until the Jabra switches off - Press and hold the talk button again until it has a continuous blue light (if it's blinking, you have just switched it on, it mus be a continuous blue light) 2. Initiate pairing from the Smartphone. - Select Start-Setting-Bluetooth - Press 1 - Make sure bluetooth is "On" - Press the right menu key (1 Devices, 2 Cancel should appear) - Press 1 - Press the menu key again - Pres 1 (for New) (from here I'll take it from memory, as I forgot my Jabra at work......) searching will start, you will be able to select your Jabra and you can specify if this is a headset or something similar.... Let me know how it went..... |
