This looks really nice, and I know that phonealarm and facade add functions but they really slow my Dash down. That is what is so nice about project OSX, it doesn't slow my down and looks nice. Thanks. When was the last time you tried them? I know with this theme in particular, pA and facade are the only two things I'm using and less usually means more (in terms of speed). I've experienced zero problems with performance (and much more functionality). |

Is there a portrait mode??? There is a portrait version that has been created of this skin. You can find it in the first post of this thread: http://forums.sbsh.net/index.php?showtopic=17140 |

How's come on the non-xtreme version... On the smart monitor screen (the main screen with just the clock, and "Click down to begin")... it says "Verizon" in the top left and not the actual wireless provider? I've addressed that question in the quicklinks section on the first post of this thread: http://forums.sbsh.net/index.php?showtopic=15747 When I hit the down button, the screen with the icons shows "Centennial" I'm not sure about this one. Never heard of anyone experiencing anything like what you describe. Could it be a message from a trial version of some program you have installed? Could you post a screenshot? FYI, I tend to check the sbsh forum more frequently. |

Sweet as always. Kudos to to you. The only thing I would improve if I could is that the scrolling through the screens is controlled by up and down (or thumb wheel on the BlackJack) rather than left and right Mike Mike, I'm assuming you are referring to my Leopard skin? Thank you. I know that those of you who use the thumb wheel, love it, but I personally ignore it completely on my Q for the navigation key. I actually think navigating down and then left/right is also much more intuitive within this setup. Also I prefer the ability to cycle through the bottom row rather than having to backtrack all the time. Finally, with Facade you get the ability of the visible/hidden calendar, and the Facade layout doesn't interfere with phoneAlarm as RJshortcut did. On balance, I just thought these advantages (and more I'm not listing, see my link at SBSH) more than make up for the loss. Thanks again. I hope you enjoy it. |

this them rite here is by far the best one ive come across in a long time, but now im wondering that instead of a still image of the fish on the main screen, be changed into a .gif image to have a flow more exotic look to the teme. which i think is shhwweeeet, any1 have sum feedback on that idea? Thanks. If you are suggesting the use of an animated gif image, unfortunately that is not supported by windows mobile. Nice idea . . . that is until you notice how much battery life it drains. |

Me too... I thought Facade now allowed had fixed it so u could use the vox. does that mean you have diff screens depenging on orientation, hence we can make a portrait version too? Not quite yet. I would suggest watching the facade forum for the next update. That said, any facade update that might affect vox doesn't mean that all themes will have a portrait version also. There is someone who has made a simple portrait version of my theme. Here is that link: http://forums.sbsh.net/index.php?s=&sh...st&p=171521 Hope that helps. |

I love the layout and how different it looks! but i've noticed that it doesnt show signal strength, any suggestions on how i might beable to keep and but show the signal strength. If you do, please email it to me, i probably wont check this much.... -John fredricksonj@comcast.net If you check, earlier in this thread I developed a skin that adds phoneAlarm to this theme (and therefore a signal meter, battery meter, etc.). Since then I've actually got around to creating an entirely new Apple OS theme altogether. Since it looks like the developers of this theme seem not to be following it right now Edit: Just posted some screenshots for anyone interested. http://forums.sbsh.net/index.php?showtopic=18460 |

Couple Questions ...... Where can I download the Orange Plug-In. And is there a way to take off the Fizz Weather. I don't need the weather nor do I want to spend $17.00 on it and was wondering if there was some way to remove it. Please advise. Love this template though!!! Kudos to the creator!!! Thanks. Here is a link to Orange: http://www.qusers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?...asc&start=0 And, if you go to this forum, you will see some variations on this theme, some without fizz (and some without Orange). http://forums.sbsh.net/index.php?showtopic=17140 Hope that helps. |

Hi there, I just downloaded this theme & I love it! Its just awesome, my only concerns are that 1) I had to turn off the auto update for my time since anytime I restart my phone it would go back to GMT -8 and 2) Im not a huge fan of phoneAlarm, only simply because I use my S620 as my morning alarm clock & schedule appointments to automatically set my phone in the meeting profile and unfortunately phoneAlarm disabled these features (unless I don't know what Im doing) Once again, thanks & I really appreciate the great work! Thank you. I"m glad you like the theme. Unfortunately, I have no experience with either of your concerns. Sorry. I'm not sure what would be messing with auto update. If you post on SBSH's forum, maybe one of the moderators there would have an idea. Regarding pA, I've found the developer at Pocket Max's forum to be quick and responsive. It really is a good program which brings tons of functionality to this theme. I would post there to see if he had any suggestions for your concerns. Sorry I couldn't help more. |

I really like this theme, but I am wondering if I can use it without having a data plan for my phone. I don't want to be charged for the updating of the weather basically. Can it work without the internet? Thanks! I'm not sure about data plans but this theme would need to access the internet to update the weather. |

File Name: Dashboard File Submitter: waltzb File Submitted: 30 May 2007 File Updated: 17 Jun 2007 File Category: QVGA Landscape ( Moto Q ) I've been thinking about this crazy idea for a theme for some time. This theme was designed totally with one goal in mind: to imitate the idea of a Mac Dashboard with it's randomly placed "widgets." And while there is a lot going on with this theme, I did try to make is functional as well. In this skin you will find . . . A taskswitch (white cross) a profile switcher a message center with graphic alerts a small functional digital clock in the top bar a bluetooth widget a "Carrier Monitor" with signal meter and carrier text a Fizz Weather widget a battery center with digital readout (and the icon changes as well, more on that later) a memory widget revealing graphic meters and digital readouts for device, storage, and a storage card a lava lamp (which currently mimicks the battery function) a calendar widget (which can show up to two appointments before scrolling, any quick launch apps you want to define through facade, and task view) with the working calendar icon an analog clock (which the second hand could be removed to save battery life) and a "Get A Mac" ringtone I've already received some good feedback on this theme. I'm looking forward to hearing any ideas you have for it. Also, I did not even try to do a non-orange version of this skin - there is just no way to cram everything together like I did without orange. So, make sure you take a look at the readme file I've included before trying to install this theme. http://forums.sbsh.net/index.php?showtopic=17317 Enjoy. Click here to download this file |

Hi, I read your howto on changing stuff in this theme with the xml file, i have one question (well maybe 2) I tried to change the "verizon" text on homescreen#1 and i am able to change it just fine the only problem is my carrier is AT&T and when I try to make the & sign, it does not show up and it just underlines the second T. I tried using xml code $amp; and got the same thing, no & and an underlined T ( ATT ) Like that. Anyways do you know how to make the & sign show up? On a sidenote how come you did not use the same plugin to post the carrier on the first sceen instead of having it be static text? Thanks for all your help and great looking theme! Thanks. Ok, I've done some checking and it looks like smartmonitor (the plugin that I'm using for that section of the theme) supports only an older standard (it's actually an older plugin) which cannot do the ampersand. Sorry. Didn't know that. Hopefully I can eliminate smartmonitor (and therefore this issue) in the next update of facade. About the choice to static text, I really wanted the carrier name to appear (like the iPhone) and my carrier (verzion) only shows the text "home service" with the carrier plugin. Hope that helps. |

What can I do to have the time display 24h format on the homescreen? I am using the extreme homescreen and have the phone set to 24h setting. You have done some great work with this setup. Welcome and thank you. I've commented about changing the clock on the first page here. Also, there is documentation for the RJTime plugin in the file you would have expanded on your computer when you installed it. Just look at the readme and timefmt.html documents for more help. Let me know if you run into any problems. |

This is an awesome theme and very much appreciated. I installed the theme as outlined and everything is working perfectly except for the Media Icon and the Photo's Icon. When I click on either one of the Icons it tells me error opening the shortcut or locating the target filename. Do you know a way that I can get these two Icons to work correctly. Thanks. Eric The media icon sounds like you have an older installation file that is still floating around. Go to this link and I explain how to edit the file to correct it: http://www.sbsh.net/forums/index.php?showt...mp;#entry151868 |

Yeah I know but I'm not as much after a homescreen only, what I really need (for a friend who's vision isn't the best anymore nor very computer savvy, hence these 'direct link icons' would be ideal) is the page I showed above, I also posted on here: http://www.sbsh.net/forums/index.php?showt...mp;#entry154954 Sorry but these forums seem somewhat odd/different with the layout of replies.. Got your pm. I understand. I've never done anything for that format, but my last phone might work for me to experiment on. Let me check on what I have and see what I can do. |
