QUOTE(S710demon @ Sep 12 2007, 14:50) *
Hi all,

Just send my Vox to Eurotwice for repairs. I had a problem with paint chipping between the numpad and the bottom of the phone.
Anyone else experience the same problems? The paintchipping did not occur as a result of a fall.

wow, this is my first post on here in years!

mine is fine, but i'm interested to hear others opinions...

anyone know where i can track this down if need be? i remember there used to be a website that had mpx200 casings, along with some other handsets - or would ebay be the best bet?

also, would a dummy phone be a suitable candidate for a transplant?

well, in reply to your question...

u can send/recieve files over a distance of around 1metre, but this is not the IR RANGE! the will go much further than 1m, because when your sending/recieving files both fones send/recieve info, but with a tv remote, stuff is just sent.. (sorry my description isn't very technical... lol)

look about, i've seen a few pictues of a e200 and a few of a c500 next to a tv remote, both using IR, you can see the c500 and tv remote are roughly the same brightness...

as for "impossible" - we just need some1 with enough knowledge and time, people said the exact same about pocket pc's and tv remote stuff, now they're amazing tv remotes smile.gif

www.chavscum.co.uk
http://www.glesga.ndo.co.uk/

both are excellent "chav" themed websites

as far as a quick giude goes - get sum addidas/nike tracksuit bottoms, tuck them into your socks (white, or burberry wink.gif) wear white shoes - couple it with a fred perry/burberry jumper/ anything with a HUGE and tasteless logo on it (lots of kickers jumpers have this..) - the aim being to make sure every1 knows u bought your jumper purely on its pricetag, and not its looks.

finish it off with a baseball cap, and you'll b ther wink.gif (burberry branded being the BEST choice of the ned/chav).

hope this helps, lol

its a known problem - install smart explorer or binaries task manager (to the phones memory - not storage card) then run it, and format the sd card, this should sort it out wink.gif

Daveas for the 243mb free thing - its normal - they never register as having 256mb (as with all storange devices) i believe the problem stems from the manufacturers counting (for example) 1mb as being 1000kb, when its actualy 1024kb
