I've tried it and it looks awesome, navigation is fast, renders almost like on a desktop and overall it's a really good approach very different to Opera Mobile 8.65 and closer to Opera Mini 4.1. But the current beta has a nasty bug that disables most notifications (sounds, pop-ups and LEDs) for SMS, MMS, calendar, etc. At least that happens on my HTC Touch; but I'm not alone, many people on the Opera forums seems to be affected. Notifications are critical for me, I can't afford to loose one for an incoming appointment, so I uninstalled it Thanks for that, I'd been trying to work out why my SMS alert had gone quite, never thought it could be related to Opera! |

Is it just me that can't get Live Search to work properly when connected via Wifi? It won't display maps in any format and trying to do anything else just comes up with a message telling me to check my data connection. It's fine via GPRS and everything else is fine via wifi. Tim. |

Hi, AmI the only one who can't hear anything from Paul on this edition, there's just Chris and silence. I've got it from iTunes and it's the same in the Enhanced and normal versions? |

It worked brilliantly on my HTC Touch at work in Central London but once I tried to use it at points on the way home I couldn't get it to refresh where I was and it insisted I was still at work. Only way I could get it to refresh was to reboot the phone! |

Doesn't work on my HTC Touch. Sorry, Google Mail for mobile will not work on your phone. Your phone does not have the appropriate certificate to communicate with the server. What does that mean? |

FInally on my way to Orange Lakeside to pick mine up today!!!! Got mine yesterday from Orange Shop in Paternoster Square, City of London. All the branches in the City seem to have them. Prices range from £129 (lowest band) to free on the top two bands, depending on your spend. |

I'm glad to see we'll have free access to Personalised Home Page and Local Services, meaning on an SPV we wont have to pay to get a message saying 'Due to Temporary network problems, Orange can't identify your mobile number'! |

I thought it looks very nice, and is quite useful. The sort of thing people write and pass on for free, I can't believe what they think they can charge for it! I found the same, it's not anywhere near as customisable as it should be, and uninstalled it after two days |

It's probably me, but with the prevoius version, I could happily sync to my SD card, but in the new one, it will only show my phone memory and I can't get it to show the SD card. Anyone know what I've done wrong? |

My M600 has started to randomly reboot itself at various times, about once a day. I only noticed because I have a PIN set up on reboot, and sometimes when I look at it, it is on the PIN screen but I have now noticed it do a reboot all of a sudden when I've been looking at it. It's also done it when I've been on a call but normally it's when it's not doing anything specific. Has anyone else had this? |

Do either the Your Page or location based parts of the Orange website work on anyone's M600. If you try to go to Your Page, which worked fine on my C550, it says - 'Sorry, this service is not available at the moment as we cannot identify the phone number you are using' If you go to 'Orange Finder' it says - 'We are sorry but we cannot determine your mobile number. It would appear that you are not currently using the Orange WAP settings on your phone... etc'. But I am. |

Is there a knack to this. I've been trying on my M600 for about three hours and have never got the hard reset message? |

I got my shiny new SPV M600 today at work. I connected it to my PC at work and having installed the new Activesync 4.1 got it to sync ok, though actually I only wanted to copy some files and set it not to sync anything. When I got home I installed Activesync 4.1 on my home PC but the blasted M600 won't connect to my home PC. It just there saying Connecting. It is my home PC that I have my contacts and stuff backed up on, so it is vital that I get it to work. I have tried numerous reinstalls, deleted the info about the previous sync at work on the device, have checked the Network Connections details as recommended in another post, but no difference at all. Any clues, the phone's pretty useless if I can't use Activesync? |

I was told £200 but as I have a contact in the Executive office it was £100. How did you manage £30? My monthly spend is only about £25 including the line rental although I have been with Orange for at least 10 years. Is your spend much higher or did you join back in the 1930's? Nice place Essex. £29.99 was the price shown on the website, that's why I wanted to get it from there rather than ringing up! My spend is about the same as yours, I've been with them about as long too. Guess they must just like me. |

It was briefly showing as In Stock on the Orange Upgrade website this lunchtime and I managed to place my fifth order. Not expecting actually to get one but you never know! It's now gone back to Out of Stock. This morning I've had an email saying I should be receiving it tomorrow (12th May) ! If I do, I'll be amazed at getting it for £29.99 on Everyday 50. |

In the past two weeks I have ordered it three times as an upgrade from the Orange website, twice I have had an email back saying it was out of stock and asking me to chose a different phone (!), and once I heard nothing but after ringing up, I was told it was out of stock but they don't always tell you. These were all on occasions when the website showed it as In Stock. Most of the time it shows, Out of Stock, I guess the website isn't updated very quickly. Guess it's a matter of being lucky ! |

QUOTE(Zone-MR @ Oct 31 2005, 15:02) It's far from dead... We're currently working on finishing Beta 8. The main additions in Beta 8 is support for Hurricane and Tornado phones (full support for QVGA, WM5, etc), a better locally-cached database system, lower GPRS data usage, etc. magic_peanuts, SPV-Devs was down a couple of hours ago due to some updates, it's back up now. Is this product still not dead, as there doesn't seem to have been any mention of finishing Beta 8 since this post? Would be very disappointing if it got so close to working on C550 and then never appeared. |
