My QTek 7070, had been upgraded to UK 1.6, & unlocked too.
I'm wondering should I go back to 1.3 & why ?? Doesn't newer ROM should contains improvements ? If it doesn't why they release it ? Is it because we can use USBTerm to save IPSM that we need to downgrade ?? |

I always make a backup via Active Sync for my phone.
My smartphone somehow reset all the data & setting by itself, so I wanto restore my back up on HD to it. But I can't do it because the device name & partnership name with active sync was also reset to default. Not the same with the one I used when I made back up. How do I change the device name ??? ( Through registry or else ??? ) |

I got the 1.5.03 update. But I can't get the apps to decert my phone !
I've tried many many time & no go ! Why ? 1. Run the apps, put SPV in craddle 2 The apps recogs the SPV, file modified 3. Phone removed 4. Hard reset, reboot 5. Orange sunset dissapear, put in craddle 6. File copied to phone 7. Try it 8. Still can't decert |

I try the SMART update by changing devicedata.txt to SMT_USA, but it always read it ?SMT_USA. How the "?" get in there ? |

 Finally, I can restore my IPSM.
Using USBterm, & my SD card.  But still can't change back to UK region.
:roll: Maybe someone can give me a light about how to downgrade my bootloader to 0.93 ( using Winhex, I guess ) !! |

It's not the UK 1.50 update but the CH. How could it be ? Why did it work ? It's not the same region ? Now I can't get it back to UK 1.3.5.6 version or other region. Ssshhhh .................... |

I use the UK 1.50.0.3.
The update itself was successful, my Tanager works fine, no apps lock, no SIM lock. The only thing is I want to restore my previous config, programs, etc. Before, my ROM is UK 1.3.5.6. I've tried to save & restore my IPSM with this version & worked. After the update the option I can find in the bootloader is Load IPSM & Erase IPSM, even there is no END option. |

:?: I've updated my E100 to 1.50.0.3
After that I can't restore my previous back up of the IPSM. When I enter the booloader : 1 - 7 : Load IPSM ( but doesn't work ) 8 Erase IPSM ( work ) My bootloader is 0.98 Before the update I can back up & restore the IPSM Anyone have the same problem, help me please ?? I can't put my program to the MMC cause it'll erase my IPSM back up |
