They are holding back this feature deliberatly right now - to make sure we buy their new devices in the future which does have it !!

FYI I asked EOps when they would have an SDIO version of their tv tuner...their reply:
"We plan to release an SDIO TV tuner for pocket pc around August this year." (2005)

Hey guys, just a little input.

A new Freeview service called DVB-H (Digital video broadcast-handheld) will be released soon which is specifically designed for PDA's and gaming devices to display TV, the problem with the normal digital channels are that they are to high quality for most devices to play-which means alot of down converting, power consumption and large hardware.

Orange already have a few channels transmitting on this service but it will be a while before it becomes the norm.
