Guest kalinte Posted March 9, 2004 Report Share Posted March 9, 2004 all this is a healthy discusison. i'm not for eddie Gil just beacause he's a preacher. hell i wont vote for cardianl sin if he's the only candidate. but try to hear his platform. his political views ( he studied law at UP, you know) he makes sense. more sense than GMA's $1 to 56 pre. and more than anything FPJ can ever say. (the fact that wala syang sinasabi means wala syang sinabi) i know that edddie gil has a very slim chance. all i'm saying is. when the time coems that we choose our leader for thier platform and not coz of their popularity...... that's when we'll rule the world. for the moment i'm still for ping. I think GMA has done a good job as our president considering the state of the union wasn't that great when she inherited the presidency from ERAP. A lot of people are blaming GMA for the economic woes of the country. But they fail to realize that the philippines is part of a global economy. What affects the US affects us too. The fall of the peso can't be blamed on GMA. It's the businessmen and foreign investors that are pushing the peso to low levels. The FPJ candidacy is one of the factors behind it. I realized that this is the first (and the last time) that we will have the opportunity to have a presidential term of more than 6 years (if GMA wins). Therefore GMA would be able to continue her successful programs to full implementation. The problem with Philippine politics is that every incoming president stops the ex-president's program however successful it is. I want to see GMA continue her programs for another 6 years. In brief, the two had prior agreements that in the end, Ping will back out therefore FPJ getting his votes. Very logical. Right now, Ping does the dirty work on the administration , FPJ is the pag-asa ng bayan kind of thing. GMA is becoming a trapo (traditional politician) each day. she promised the poeple she wont seek re-election but she did. what ever she says as long as it's not written and signed don't believe it. chances are all the rumors of destabilization are their making in order to get the symphaty of the poeple. everyday there's atalk of coup d'etat so they can file cases upon cases against the opposition. but so far only erap is in jail. even jinggoy is out. the oakwood guys are out, cardenas is out, now jalosjos is out too (he's in makati med.) Those are words of sincerity to help the nation not just words of "pambobola". Ang mahirap kasi sa "MASA" ang gusto nila yung mga dialog na napapanood nila sa pelikula. Wala silang paki-alam sa definite plans ang gusto lang nila magagandang words at magaling na pagka-deliver. Hanggang kailan kaya na sila ang magdedecide para sa bansa natin para pumili ng isang lider? As long as ang intention is to spread the gospel at hindi personal gains bakit hindi? Not only politicians but all believers of Christ are called according to that purpose - Go and make disciples of all nations. as i've said before CHRISTIANITY is very different from RELIGION. Iba ibang teaching na kase eh hindi na mahkapareho. Look how one religion attacks and criticize the other regarding their teacing. OT na nga!
