Description ::

Nothing amazing, just a clean and simple, non-cluttered skin with a sweeet car.

On a slightly seperate note, I'm not the cleverest when it comes to xml, which is why all my skins look the same. I use the same template each time but just change the colours and pics (with the OK from Rey Vegafria for his template). I'm having a hard time to try and have the icon bar appear on every page. As you can see from the screen shot, the icon bar appears on the home page but no anywhere else.

If someone fancies having a crack at it I'd be most greatful

To install, download the ZIP file, extract the HME file to your phone and install.

Enjoy.

Welcome to the site Abdulonline :)

In this case, download the zip file at the top of this thread onto your PC.

Unzip it and you will find an .hme file.

Using ActiveSync, cut and paste the hme file onto your phone at this location : IPSM (or Storage if you have the E200) Windows Start Menu Accessories.

Now go to this folder on your phone using the Start / Programs menu and you will see an icon for the hme file.

Click on it and it will install itself.

When you want to change homescreens, use the Add / Remove Programs function in your phone Settings menu or the ActiveSync tool to uninstall it.

CAB files work in the same way.

If you unzip and get an .xml file and a jpeg, just copy them into IPSM (or Storage if you have the E200) Application Data Home and use the Settings menu to choose.

I've only had my phone a few days and I haven't got used to all the features yet.....

But how do I use the ActiveSync function.

I have the original Orange SPV Mobile.

Thanks

If you don't have the CD that came with the phone you can download a copy of ActiveSync from MS, here :

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/res...tivesync37.mspx

Then attach the charging cradle into your PC's USB socket. Put the SPV in the cradle and you will get a window opening up on your PC automatically.

You don't need to do anything, phone-side.

Click on Explore, double-click the phone icon and you're away ! :)

Hi Kaseho,

Not sure exactly what you mean by "access" so apologies in advance if I'm just repeating what you already know.

1) Download MercSLR.zip from the 1st page of this thread to your desktop.

2) Extract the hme file contained in the zip to your desktop.

3) Copy the hme file to your phone. Ideal place is your storage card.

4) If you have Smart Explorer on your phone, run this and browse to the hme file you've just placed in your storage card.

5) Click on the file or Run the file. This will install the Merc Skin.

6) If you don't have Smart Explorer on your phone, copy the hme file to Storage or IPSMwindowsStartUp using ActiveSync's explore tool.

7) Once the hme file is in StartUp, reboot your phone.

8 ) Upon reboot, you should receive a message saying something like, "Would you like to install the kick ass, simple, gorgeous Merc Skin to your awesome, kick ass phone to enhance it's appeal to the wider market?" or something like that :)

9) Click Yes and there you have it.

Hope that helped

Could you make a pid file for photo id as well with room for the name of the contact, it would be good if the photoes switched in the allimation,
