Ive downloaded some sample solutions but when I try to open them VB reports that 'the selected file is not a valid visual studio solution file.' Guest Peter Foot Posted May 22, 2004 Report Share Posted May 22, 2004 If you go to File > New Project do you get the option of Smart Device Application in the list of available project types? If not then you may need to re-run Visual Studio setup and make sure this component is selected (though it should be installed by default). You definately have Visual Studio .NET 2003 Pro?
