Anybody have any info on when this will be available? Or even where I can buy one from overseas?

Well, my constant pestering of Orange has revlealed 'July'. Since there is no actual date listed this apparently means that it won't be out until some time in August, eg the Nokia 7610 had a release date of 'late June' and will be out 12 July.
I guess we are all hoping that the C500 addresses all our various issues, a bit like XP after ME. I live in hope.

They said "Give it two months" to me. But that was in mid-June.

Yep, I got a few replies of 'July' as well. Thing is I am starting a new job August 2nd for which I'll need a new contract and I don't wanna buy some existing phone only for the C500 to be released 10 days later!
Aren't thse phones available in other guises from somewhere else? My usual place, Expansys doesn't even know about it.
I currently have an Imate Smartphone2, but that will have to go back to my employer when I leave! aaargh!

I am similarly time limited. If it gets too tight I may go the Symbian route via the Nokia 7610 released on Monday, I believe.

I bet I'm back here in September moaning that my contract is up for renewal and the C500 still hasn't made an appearance!!

Thankfully my contract isn't up til December so its just a case of how early I upgrade
So I went to the Doctors yesterday. He said, "What appears to be the problem?". I said, "I keep having this dream, night after night, beautiful girls keep rushing towards me and I keep pushing them away." He said, "How can I help?" I said: "Break my arms."

cheers simon,
these dates can change weekly, if a new bug is found or if a shipment fail quality testing (eg. 6230)

Quality testing?
What is "Quality testing?"
Not like the Big O to let a few bugs stand in the way of more cash!
Anyway, I thought that was our job!

I can second that, i work in orange retail as well. Were told early august.
But as stated the Nokia 6230 was released (about 12 a store) then O found there was an icon bug. Held up more deliverys until it was sorted. This entail delayed the next batch for another 4 weeks!

I'd rather hang on a bit and not have any bugs than get it sooner and end up sending it back!
