Gmail state that they will bounce ANY executable, whether in a compressed archive or not. Anyone been spammed on gmail yet? And since there doesn't seem to have been a huge clamour to take up these gmail invites if anyone has one REALLY spare my missus would take care of me for weeks if someone could send her one. One reply ran along the lines of, "Who the ... are you to be ... getting a ... gmail account. You're no ... techie. I'm a ... tech, I should ... have one" As you may have guessed there were a number of expletives. As for the spam I am assuming that it is not currently worth any spammers bombing @gmail.com. There are probably only a few hundred thousand users, unlike hotmail or yahoo.
