The Premier packages offer excellent value for money. The separate selling cost for this kind of tariff would otherwise be as follows:

Your Plan 400: £50

Orange Care: £5

3Mb GPRS: £4

Memory Mate: £2.99

Upgrade fee after 9 months: £75 (ex VAT) (approx)

Voicemail: 10p/min (after inclusive allowance used)

Total Your Plan 400 cost: £150.12 (inc VAT)

Premier Cost: £55 (including Phone Trainer appointment: Priceless )

What about value promise customers like me with 3000+ minutes and a £95 traiff?

:P :D

Unfortunately, the Champaign colour handset currently is exclusive to Orange Premier customers and equivalent matched tariffs are not included.

That's not an accurate comparison though!

The "Your Plan" total of £150 isn't the monthly cost that you are comparing to monthly cost of the Premier tariff.

You actually only save £4/month, and a one-off payment of £75 if you upgrade within 12 months (probably a lot of us do).

The Premier packages offer excellent value for money. The separate selling cost for this kind of tariff would otherwise be as follows:

Your Plan 400: £50

Orange Care: £5

3Mb GPRS: £4

Memory Mate: £2.99

Upgrade fee after 9 months: £75 (ex VAT) (approx)

Voicemail: 10p/min (after inclusive allowance used)

Premier Cost: £55 (including Phone Trainer appointment: Priceless :P)

It's actually a £9 per month saving - Orange care is £5 per month and the GPRS is £4 per month.

Not to be picky but the is its £4

YourPlan 400 is £50

Care is £5

World Access is £4

Total Cost £59

Premier 400 is £55

(includes care and access pack)

Or bugger O and goto three where 750 x-network minutes are £35 (or if you shop around you can get them for £17.50 for a year). Only drawback no C500. With the saving buy a SIM free one off of eBay..............

All this for a different colour phone, I ask you! Just wait until covers are (if) available

Why would you subscribe to a UMTS network and then go buy a C500 with the savings. What would you do with the GSM phone, unless you use a PAYG SIM ?

Martin,

So you have cheap tarrif and a C500 (i.e. two phones). If you wanted to illegally change the C500 IMEI to a 3 IMEI then you would need only the C500 (use the 3 SIM and O2 network). But you couldn't use it because you would be in the nick. Or use a PAYG sim. I know a lot of people with 2 phones

im glad that O have offered the silver to premium customers and have the black one for us commoners, the black seems so much nicer...saw one in a shop today...im sick of silver...99.9% of all phones on the market are silver...cept the mpx200 ofcourse :)

In responce to the earlier message in regards to savings on Premier packages. This outline was not intended as a monthly saving, merely as a potential saving were you to upgrade. The Premier packages are not aimed at the majority of customers, merely a niche of our market and the availability of 9 month upgrades is a key selling factor of the Premier package that excells itself from standard Your Plan packages.

This whole Orange premier-only isn't completely true, you can get it as a free-upgrade on most high-end (£50+) tarrifs. But today they were unavailable, this is a a direct quote from the Orange lady:

"The phones are released, but they are not in shops or available here."

The old saying of 'pay peanuts, get monkeys' holds water like never before at one-five-o.

I ordered my C500 yesterday (got it for free) and it is suppose to arrive by end of week. But the best part is I negotiated a new tariff using a competitor's offer as leverage. O counter-offered to doubled my minutes (presently 200) for 12 months and for less per month! So I now I’ll get 400 minutes/month for £30 which is £15 less a month and 200 more minutes than my old tariff on my old SPV. Forget Premier rates when you can save by negotiating with O.
