yup this procedure works out just fine. my SAP is back to QTek now. pretty neat. thanks to xmint.

I have a QTEK 7070 and I was upgraded to WN2003 (Canary v2.00-2003), but it's working really slow, poor battery etc. I tried to go back to Smartphone, but unsuccessful. I also tried XMINT but it didn't worked for me. Can somebody help me?

If you want help. Tell us some more details about what happen.

You might consider bringing your unit to brightpoint. If your phone is still on warranty they will fix it for free. But if not theres a corresponding fee depending on the seriousness of the problem. In your case they might recommend changing the board.

tanong lang... im planning to bring my phone to smart to have a version 1.8, (quest) nag stuck kasi sa headset mode ung fon ko, pag nag upgrade ba eh mabablik un, o still in headset mode? kaso nabura ko din ung headset mode ko using phm reg... but still nagagamitan ko ng headset ng sap... any idea? thanks!

ive experienced that before too..

u might want to TRY ANY of the ff:
1. reflash mo ung current rom mo.

2. have urself a safety pin (kahit karayom) basta maliit lang.
    hold ur spv like this:
    dapat nkaharap sayo ung butas ng headset at ung lcd ay nasa KANAN mo.
    may makikita ka sa loob ng butas na copper contact (nasa bandang KANAN) (iba ito    
    sa nasa labas na ring.
    dahan-dahan mo sundutin ng karayom un.. prang ililift mo lang sya..

--->check mo ung profiles mo. this should fix it

im trying to downgrade my phone using the said instruction kaya lang dun palang sa first part na after ko run yung smartupgrageUt and after pressing next... may error agad na "cannot identify phone please perform a normal reset and then try to run this application again" bakit po ganon? pano po gagawin ko? tnx!

hello fellow pinoys, am here in Sydney Aussie at dinala ko SAP ko hoping i can use it here.  after all my internet research, i came to know that i have a HTC Tanager unit.  some says it's also SPV e100.  i got it from SMART the first time it was introduced in the Philippines.  i'm not sure kung ano ang original version ng ROM but i remember having upgraded it successfully twice and now having BL v1.13 and SMART ROM 1.8.13.2.  i have an XP computer and my phone doesn't have any problems synchronizing with it.  my phone has Windws 2002 o/s.

i tried the Xmint procedure using the RAM Patcher (instead of Winhex).  the Patcher completed after 2 secs and then i continued with the upgrade.  then it shows an error saying something like i don't have the correct ROM and that i should try downloading the correct one.  tried iit twice already and still the same.

may makakatulong kaya sa akin dito?

another thing, i would like to downgrade it by booting from SD card.  however, i don't think there's anyone here i know with SAP1 with lower BL/ROM versions from whom i can make a repair or boot card.  is there a way i can make one?

Hi, I've recently downloaded x-mint's procedure.zip and extracted it in a folder.

kaso sabi hindi daw nya maextract yung nk.xmt, yung ibang files naman maayos na naeextract...

pag in-extract ko individually yung nk.xmt, magkakaerror, tapos yung naextract nya na nk.xmt is 9 megs lang

pano na po ba ang gagawin ko? gusto ko na maopenline ang fone ko    or meron bang link kung saan pwede kong madownload yung nk.xmt bukod sa procedure.zip? ayoko sanang idownload yung 22 megs nanaman, 1.2kbps lang transfer rate ko dito huhuhu... pls help me...
