For instance, when I push the number 6, two times for the letter "n", I get the next letter, "o" or sometimes the number 6. Do you think this is a bad keypad. Guest grindoc Posted October 28, 2004 Report Share Posted October 28, 2004 my phone is only 1 month old and I get the same thing. it is quite annoying but it just started happening to me a week ago. I don't know the reason. If my volume is up I can actually hear an additional key press tone (even though I did not press the key an additional time) and then it skips to the next character.
