Outlook/Calendar query and Nokia 6670 question too!

I occasionally paste a picture - say a map or similar - into an appointment on my Outlook calendar.

Can anyone tell me , after I sync with Outlook, what will appear in the appointment in a C500 calendar. With Blackberries, Word, Excel Powerpoint etc files can be read. Is it the same with the C500.

And, slightly off topic, the new Nokia 6670, is this classified by the forum as a Smartphone and, if so, would that display a Word file or JPEG in an appointment?

1) Pictures in appointment details.

Dunno! never tried that. I would guess not, but it's just a guess, and other (text) notes DO get sync'd

2) Word etc "attachments"

Dunno if they get sync'd, but as it comes the C500 does NOT have a Word or Excel viewer. You can get ClearVue software to let you view Word, Excel, PDF, PowerPoint, Images etc, but you might want to trial it first to see if it does what you want

3) This forum is for Microsoft Smartphones, and does not cover other OSs (such as Symbian, which is what I guess the Nokia uses). It confuses quite a lot of people because MS basically hijacked what was a generic name and called their phones it! You could try the "Off topic - Non Smartphone devices" forum here

AFAIK there is no Word viewing software for Symbian Series 60, but a trawl of Handango will clarify that for you
