Guest Noah
Is it possible to replace the Orange sunset start up screen and the MS splash screen with images of the same name? I have tried transfering the ms_splash.gif found in the windows folder but it doesn't show up on the PC....any wiser heads out there with an answer? Guest CarlHatton
I tried replacing the startup/shutdown screens on the phone. It displayed the shutdown one while turning off but when i switched back on they had been reset to default
Guest spacemonkey
Unfortunately these screens are in the /Windows folder which gets refreshed from ROM at every reboot. So even though you can change them they'll revert back to normal when the phone is off. It'd require a patch to the ROM to change them... oh well... All_explore couldnt change the attributes i wanted to. I tried this to get that Mediaplayer skin to stay put but alas even if they are read-only or whatever they still dissappear on reboot. What we need is some way to hack new files into the ROM... then we'd be laughing
Guest MrSpoons
I know you can't run insigned .exe files, but could you run a .bat file that copies the media player skins back in?
Guest akarno
I don't think Smartphone support bat files. I had a quick try without any luck. Anyone know any different.
