Sync and Charge cable oddity.

Hello...

So, I got my 2020 so I thought I'd try the sync and charge cable from my old spv. It worked fine for syncing and the power section of control panel reported the battery as "charging"... but the battery meter only went down as it would normally. The cradle, when it has the mains adapter is plugged in, charges as expected. Is the wiring different for this model? If so, can anyone suggest a cable that will work?

I'm still using my Brando sync and charge cable both for SPV and XDA2. Also i don't have to plug the adapter to the cradle. The cradle charges the phone using power USB port. So I just leave the adapter in my travelbag, use the brando sync&charge with the notebook/home PC and leave the cradle at the office.

Well, I've tried this on my home PC and and it does work, this is having the device plugged into a powered USB 2.0 hub. Still doesn't on my work computer where it's plugged directly into the back of the machine.

Weird.

Hi, I have the same problem using my old SPV E100 cable to charge.

However, I found that the M1000 (orange version of XDA) only asks the hub for 2 ma whereas my SPV E100 asks for 64 ma.

Can anyone think of a way to get the M1000 to ask for more juice.

Khalid
