Go to wmp -> menu---> options---> buttons, then last option in the list is to assign a button for screen on/off toggle chose any key and you're done (got the mda compact /s100 only has wmp10) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Have Pocket MVP as well as Media Player <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's built into Windows Media Player if you are using it... it allows you to switch off the screen while playing music.
