The new look is nice but too white on the posts maybe a slightly darker tint would help , keep on with the ideas so modaco will be always your number 1

Can I assume that the look is not permanent? I like all of the new functionality and the blazing speed. But will Modaco have a new look to go along with it?

Yes it will, development of a new style is currently underway, this is a stop gap so we could get on the new software as quick as possible

In addition, there was a bit of money in the MoDaCo coffers which meant we could buy IPB, Blogs, Galleries, Copyright Removal and Top Secret Product X which will REALLY take us to the next level.
Think of this as a platform for the future, a solid foundation for what is coming next

I personally like this style, very subtle and easy on the eyes, like the old MoDaCo, the design-in-progress must look great hehe

I like the look but I thing how the sections are now working it's harder to get to the customisations for smartphones, and I already miss the ability of minimising sections to a bar if you not intrested in that section.
I rather have the old board than this, but what do I know

one thing I don't like is when I click Track This Topic I have to then select a tracking option. I'd much rather prefer to only have to do one click and it doesn't even take me to the tracking option screen (maybe if there was a way to default it all the time)

One thing I have noticed is when you click on the 'View New Posts' it does not tell you how many posts there actually are

I have been getting used to the new forums and like them BUT - Search feature.
On the old forum it didn't work half the time but when it did you could find whta you were looking for. The new Search returns all the posts with the Search words not just the threads containing them so you can get hundreds of results and it doesn't seem to confine it's Search to the selected forum either.
Is it me just being stupid?
Apart frm the Search feature the new forums are a big improvement (once you get used to them). Keep up the good work.!

Personally I dont like new design, I think its too bright, it makes your eyes feel very tired. What do you think?
Personally I hate the new design, the way the boards display and the layout are terrible. I much prefer the old design. This was a huge step back for the community as I feel Modaco is the best mobiles site out there.

The more i use the new board the more i prefer it over the old style. It does take some getting used to, but the speed is fantastic.
Its also far better for posting news!
good for you guys seeing as you can now post in news!

I think it's great, it's FAST, there are plenty of new "fancy bits", but if you don't want to use them, no problem, just hit view new topics, and you're away.
Looking forward to the new mobile version, as I used to use it a lot.

I like it generally speaking. Like the fast reply thing, & I like the integration of the forums. The only thing I have found that is not to my liking is the homescreen download forum. You can't see ratings anymore, and the preview images don't open in the thread. I much prefered the previous threads where you could easily see a preview image just by opening the thread.
