I just bought my Jam.
Currently there is no SD card installed yet when I go to settings/memory/storage card it shows 7.6 MB Free.
I have performed a ROM upgrade (to go to UK Rom from Arabic) and after the upgrade the unit gets hard-reste, yet I noticed the data that I previously placed in this directory did not get deleted. It survived the hard re-set.
Is this area a permanent storage area?
