I may just be suffering from new layout-itis.
But I cant figure out the difference between what's new and what's hot.

I used to be able to go thru all the threads that had new posts (that I wanted to read), the mark the whole forum as read when I was done.

I cant easily do that anymore. The colors are confusing.

Also, why do I get a reply to every response in a subscribed thread? Is that a setting somewhere to only get one until I actually visit that thread again?

Also, cant one edit a thread title anymore?

If you would like to suggest alternative colours to the ones Midnight came up with, feel free.

Mail to every response kinda sucks, i'll look into it.

Posts in the invision support forum seem to suggest 'Delayed Emailed Notification' performs as you ask, but i'll need to investigate...

Thanks. With the Thread Icon colors...It's just hard to tell what is what.
Orange is new posts, Red is Hot topic, but what is Hot topic with new posts? I see that orange with a black dot is no new posts.

I may just be used to the old way...but I dont really like the HOT TOPIC portion. I like...colored for new posts, no color for completely read. I can tell if something is a hot topic by the number of pages, I guess. Just my opinion.

AHHH! There it is! I thing the Hot topic (no New) looks like new on some screens!

My problem is that the 'New Posts' colouring doesn't follow through upwards to the parent folder. For example, if all posts in Software-Applications are read but there are unread posts in Software-Games I don't get the colouring in Smartphone-Software or the next one up, Software.
Some sections, eg. News, seem to work correctly.  :?:

EDIT : this is made worse by the fact that 'View New Posts' zeroes itself once you've clicked it, rather than keeping a list of everything you haven't read since last visit. It was working ok until yesterday I think.

Is anyone else having this problem ? Is it a cookie-handling error at my end ?

Also, what's up with this "go to last unread post" thing?  Who wants to go to the last unread post?  Wouldn't first unread post make more sense? Or last read post?
