Will these headphones: clicky

work on a C500 (I asked javoedge, and they said it'd work if the C500's connector had 2 prongs, which it doesn't)

but people use those generic 2.5mm => 3.5mm adaptors that only have 2 prongs, so I figure a 2 prong connector won't do any harm, will it?

(btw I know it won't work as a handsfree - I'm not bothered about using it for calls - I just want to be able to plug them in to listen to mp3s on the tube without having to faff about untangling the headphones every time!)
