AH well I've lost my phone and It probably won't be returned.Who ever has It won't get It to run unless there tech savvy. I kept the phone locked at all times. Despite all the quirky problems the phone had I really loved It. I didn't wan't to spend as much money this time so I went with the MPX200(pretty much the same phone minus the camera and less quirky problems).

Damn west sorry to hear that. Did you try ebay and/or a google search, I'm sure you should be able to order It from some where. There's always a long distance phone call to mitac that may help, you should be able to order directly. If I remember correctly didn't someone In this forum mail there phone to mitac or tiawan to get fixed?

I got a 1350 mAh battery which came with a stereo headset with mic and mute button, all from Mitac, for $28 off ebay. The guy was selling a bunch of them and they're not posted on ebay anymore but, and I could be wrong here, I don't think he sold many. He goes by chucktze on ebay and I received email from him via [email protected]. You might want to try that route because this new battery rocks and the price couldn't be beat. It adds 3 or 4 mm to the back of the phone, it's not completely flat like the original battery. That's fine considering it turned it into a real phone again. Now if only I could open the thing up and clean out the keypad.

@ modojojo - I have searched Ebay and google but they are all from abroad and i dont want to pay for all that postage when someone must have one for sale closer to home or on MoDaCo!

@ Markhow long does the battery last with the 1350mAh? My current is 170mAh but it is not lasting long enough.

It might not be the battery tho, thought it could be the charger, i just dunno!

Well, I haven't seen it drop lower than 80% yet so I don't really know how long it would take to run it down to nothing. I can tell you that with moderate use, it took about 12 hours to run it down to 80%. The same amount of use would have run the original battery down to nothing within 8 hours. The original battery doesn't hold a charge like it used to, however, and I'd bet that's your problem as well, not your charger.

I just sent Chuck an email inquiring about the availability of the batteries. I'll post any reply here.
