Eve online is my current addiction, although after 8 months I'm getting a little bored and thinking of moving to World of Warcraft

There is plenty of tech talk in here....I have to believe that there are some gamers in here too.  Halo, Rome: Total War, Jak and Daxter?  ANYTHING!!

I tend to stick more offline games at the moment. I was in halo 2 MP craze for a while but now it seems as tho im back onto PC games. Just finished up Half Life 2 and im moving on to Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault now. I tried to get into Metal Gear Solid 3, but it just annoyed me...so i'll go back to it after MoH.

anyone else?

Finished off Half Life 2 and am currently working on Prince of Persia Warrior Within. Didnt think it would be my sort of game, but its really hooked me and I cant stop playing it!! I also play a lot of Counterstrike Source online with my mate Nick, we can usually be found on Teamspeak until the early hours of the morning chatting away as we play.

When I am out and about I take my Jam with me and play Age Of Empires a lot!

I'm a big gaming fan. I'll play pretty much everything, but i haven't had a game in a month or so that has really captured my like Halo2 did before Christmas.

Half Life 2 rocks something else! I was gutted when I completed it but I console myself with Counterstrike Source. Valve are apparently launching a new, standalone, single player map for HL2 later this month to show-case their new "Ranged Lighting Effect" based around the Highway 17 chapter. They're calling it the "Lost Coast". Keep your eyes on Steam!!

Cant see how they could restrict the download based on your hardware. You can probably download it, you probably just cant PLAY it without meeting the minimum spec. I think my PC should be okay though.

Just bought Knights of The Old Republic II in my lunch break. Looking forward to playing it when I get home!!

Might have to get that one myself soon - although my other half won't be happy if it's as good as the first one - she won't see me for days!

Finished HL2 a few weeks back now working on Doom3 when I have time

Doom3 definately tries to rely on poor lighting too much but I'm used to that now.

Just up to the bit with the skeletons with rocket launchers :/ slightly harder than the other baddies I've waded though.

I presume there is a good weapon to use on them.

I got bored of D3 far too quickly. It's good, but running around in the dark constantly gets a bit tedious. I know I could up the brightness / gamma settings, but then it looks cr*p!!

I too got bored of Doom and stopped playing it before finishing it. I stopped playing it when you get to Hell. Just couldnt be arsed with the whole "walk forward ten paces... Wait, whats that noise behind me... SMEG!! I didnt see that coming!! Oh hell, I've run out of ammo! *Dies horribly*"

It gets boring after the thousandeth time of going through that.

On a side issue, Knights of The Old Republic 2 rocks!! Its a bit slow starting but I'm really getting into it now. Just as well I have a week off work next week, I cant stop playing this game for more than ten minutes at a time!!

Slower starting than the first but the story is a LOT deeper when it gets going. It kinda ties in with events from the first. I am on the last stage at the moment and its also bloody hard!!
