Guest Gorskar Posted February 15, 2005 Report Share Posted February 15, 2005 Its nice to have the service available and I apreciate the effort that's gone into developing the service, but even so... for £15 you can get T-mobile to give you an unlock code directly (eg for the T-mobile MDA compact) I do appreciate that there is a wait for this though (you need to be at least 1 month into your contract), but still..... They must presumably be sure the unlock works for MDA Compact/HTC Magician and for MDA III/HTC Blue Angel. You know you can 'test' it all you like if you pay IMEI-check £20! If not maybe for some reason you're not being recognised as a plus member (although your profile says you are...). P <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's the way it is in australia, although we typically don't have out handsets locked when bought on a contract. They are normally locked for prepaid (all carriers except Vodafone). I had to buy AU$85 CREDIT to unlock mine, but I got to use that in calls.
