Well, I've just gotten off the phone with 1sps and they tell me the MDA III's should hopefully be in by next week.

Apparently the stock delay has been caused by a software fault on the phones, but as of last week, they have now merged with Carphone Warehouse (news to me!!) and they'll be able to access their stock within the next couple of days.

So, dunno whether to believe them or not... All I know is that I ordered the bugger on the 22 Feb and if it takes them more than 30 days to supply the goods (especially as payment has been taken), they will be in breach of the Distance Selling Regulations (see the page on contract performance...

I'm kinda in a bind really... Under the act I can insist on a refund, but I'd rather not as the £24.99 offer is over now and nowhere else has a similar offer :D I just want this phone!!!

Well, just tried ringing em again and they now say 7-10 days minimum, so pfffft.... One cancelled order... Scancom can have my business instead for an MDA Compact, be in my grubby fingers by the morning! :D

Don't bother with 1sps guys... Third time I've ordered phones from them, and 3rd time I've have problems... Maybe I should have learned from that a bit sooner!

How long does orange normally take to replenish their m2k stock ? seems to be taking ages!  :x

See the thread that's like 10 pages long in this forum. Some of us waited months!! That was a unique situation though, I'm surprised it's happened again. Must be capacity problems at HTC, outwith Orange control, IIRC the MDA is scarce as well.

The "software fault" sounds like BS to me, "tell the customer something to make him go away but feel good about the fact he don't have a buggy phone". :D It's a lot better than "we don't have any, why not take your custom elsewhere?"!!

Ive sold 12 M2000's over the past month. My stocks are continuously getting replenished 3 and 4 at a time.

I have heard there is a few stock issues coming on, but there are 1000 in build

Just cancled my order with one stop phone shop 5 weeks was far to long to wait so decided togive them another go with a p910i. However was told that I could not order it till today so when i went on the site the price had gone up by 139 pounds. So thought stuff u 1sps and orderd a Mda iii from cashbackphones.com and as they stated the phone was in stock on their home page i expected to have it in my hands today however when it did not arrive i called them and they said out of stock will be in on monday. Hope I am not going down the same track as i did with 1sps anyone orderd from these people befor?

Funnily enough I've just posted a reply to another thread on the forum about this! I ordered an M2000 from 1sps 3 weeks ago but it still hadn't arrived by last friday. I promptly rang 1sps to complain and gave the poor customer service lady a bit of a grilling after she told me repeatedly that "they had no stock" and that's all she could say. Pathetic.

I went into a local shop saturday who only had one in stock at another branch locally, so they put it on one side for me which I collected later that day. I shall be cancelling my order with 1sps tomorrow (customer service not open over the weekend).

Orange tech services told me yesterday that it is HTC who are having a problem supplying orange with the rebranded stock. That's all he could tell me. Even orange staff cannot get hold of them - they only had one in the office but someone had broken it!

Also meant to mention that when I contacted onestopphoneshop the following week (after my ranting at them) to cancel my order, it had already been cancelled by them :| I shan't be using their services ever again.
