Hi,

My MDA Compact (on T-Mobile) forgets the Text Message - Message Centre number when I do a cold restart, is this normal?

It wouldn't bother me except that I have to cold restart every couple of days because of various problems, eg. Phone application stops working

It sounds like you have more of a problem than just the Message centre number.

I have the same trouble with my MDA compact - anyone know why this happens and how to solve it?

Turns out, my SIM card was too old for the phone (6 yrs old).

Got a new SIM card, problem went away.
