I mean they haven't contributed anything toward the forum and they won it. What about the regulars here? When I won the Compal/Red-E, although I was already fairly active, it did convince me to sign up to plus, as a kind of thank you for me winning. I dont think reular members should have any more of a chance of winning than any other person who takes the time to sign up, you should just be proud of being part of modaco, no other mobile forum gives away prizes as big as this. I agree with mecx, nobody lost anything, nobody paid to enter, so there should be no cause for alarm. Good - I'm not sure it'd be right to exlclude people who only ever read the forums and not post anything. You *could* try this for the next comp with more than one prize: If there are two prizes, set one aside for people with less than (eg 100) posts and one prize for those with more than (eg 100). For three prizes, one for 0-100, one for 100-1000 and one for over 1000. If the prizes were of different value, then make the most expensive availabe to those with more posts. If they were the same value, but different prizes then give the winner with more posts the first choice of prize.
